Plus, he might have lost his life if it wasn’t for Dale Earnhardt and his crash 19 years ago. Secondly, what happened to him and why he was released just 48 hours later from the hospital. How Dale Earnhardt Helped

Dale Earnhardt lost his life in a similar crash 19 years ago. Since that crash, they learned that the track is far more dangerous than they first anticipated. They added a lot more safety precautions that helped save Newman’s life. For instance, they added fireproof suits, so if the car went into a blaze the body would not have burned. They also added head and neck support so that there is less of a chance of palatalization. There are many more things they added to save future NASCAR drivers. But these are some of the more important things that helped saved Newman’s life.

Hospital Release

Additionally, Ryan Newman was released from the hospital just 48 hours after the crash. Not many things have been posted about what happened to him during the crash. Most people know that the morning he was released people saw him walking! Which is amazing if you consider how bad the crash was. Luckily Ryan was seen walking out of the hospital holding his daughters’ hands. Which was just heartwarming.

Furthermore, Ryan Newman is a very famous NASCAR driver. He competes regularly for the NASCAR Cup. In fact, he has won 18 cups! He has also won the 2008 Daytona 500 and 2013 Brickyard 400. As you can see Ryan is a well-decorated racer.

In conclusion, Ryan Newman was involved in a serious accident during the 2020 Daytona 500. First why he was lucky enough to have Dale Earnhardt change the safety game and it helped him save his life. Additionally, why he was released from the hospital so soon. And lastly, what Newman has accomplished throughout his racing years. People are so happy to know that he will be fine after the accident.
