Good Grades

Have you ever wondered why your parents and/or friends want you to get good grades? Or to get a scholarship? Well, the grades you get in 9th grade are really important! And they count toward what college you will get into in the future! So pay attention because it will really pay off in the future whether it is a job or a scholarship!

Once you are in the 9th grade, your grades will matter toward your future in jobs, family, and scholarships. I’m pretty sure you’re confused about why, so let’s dive into a little more detail. This information could really help you in the future.

Behavior

When you get good grades, your self-confidence is boosted, and when you have bad grades, your self-confidence is decreasing. A study at the University of Michigan found that students were surveyed based on their grades and around 80% of the surveyed students got good jobs and were able to provide for their families. When you have good behavior, you get more privileges, like hanging out with friends or more time on your Xbox or you have time to throw in a date with your girlfriend and/or boyfriend.

Jobs

If you want a good job then get good grades. For example, some jobs will hire with a high school diploma, but the better grades you have, the more likely they will hire you than your best friend who has C’s and D’s. If you get good grades and go to college and graduate you will find way better jobs that pay more so you can support you and your family with no problem.

Scholarships

If you play an instrument, like the violin and you play really well, you could get a scholarship and could get into a really great college. That college will allow you to play your instrument for a job. Like the Symphony. People who play there got a scholarship for a great college and graduated. The people at the Symphony will see your good grades when you audition and will most likely accept you. Scholarships will reward you greatly from graduating to having a well-paying job and then a family. (If you want one)

Not everyone wants a scholarship or good grades and they love living with their parents in their basement. Certain people do things for a reason and there is no pressure to get good grades. But, some of the people who have scholarships have made tons of money. They got a great education and they are most likely loving their life right now.

My Opinion

There are many types of delicious and gross flavors of chips. But there are two main ones that I love!! I love Sour Cream and Onion and Screamin’ Dill Pickle. These are my preferred chip flavors because I love pickles and the flavor isn’t too much, but just enough for me, and the Sour Cream and Onion is just so good! When I put the chip into my mouth, it’s just a burst of flavors going into my mouth. I also love Cheetos, but they are sadly not a type of pringle.
