Microsoft’s new gaming service called xcloud brings gaming to a whole new level. Bringing

competition to Google’s cloud gaming service, stadia. Xcloud was released on android on September 15th but has yet to come to apple because of its strict app store policy. Here’s everything you need to know.

Everything you need to know!

Microsoft’s new cloud-based gaming service, xcloud. A streaming service that allows usually high demanding games on a phone. Microsoft has done this by using huge data centers and putting Xbox like components in them. Then, the data servers stream directly to your mobile device. Xcloud at no extra cost is bundled with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If you don’t have this bundle, you’ve missed out on this. However, not all hope is lost for those of you that don’t have game pass ultimate. With the new next-gen Xbox, you can choose a financing option for 35 dollars a month you’re paying for the console and the game pass. Very good deal, if you ask me! Now more about the streaming service. 

Since xcloud is relatively new, you can play 150 games, but later this year the game pass is partnering with EA play, meaning that this library goes up by about 50 games. Giving the total to be, a big 200 games. To keep it simple, xcloud is a streaming service for games that’s able to play usually high performance required games on a weak device such as a tablet or phone. But as per usual Apple is giving Microsoft problems.

Microsoft’s problem with Apple

Microsoft was beta testing with apple devices and was ready to send it to the app store for it to get verified and put up. Apple declined it because it violates the rules, sounds kinda fishy to me. 

Speculations have shown that they don’t want it to be on the app store, because it would make Apple’s “Apple Arcade” obsolete. It would make sense because xcloud is better in every way. Think about it, console games on a weak device, I’m sold! Now it’s not over yet! Microsoft is working on a browser-based solution for apple devices. They’re doing this by creating a catalog style app that collects and links to each game. Similar to Amazon’s luma cloud-based gaming service. In theory, this will work, but you never know with Apple. It’s expected to be on Apple’s devices in late 2020, to early 2021. Overall this streaming service sounds amazing, and I’m very excited to try it myself!

Everything about Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

    Fortnite got a new season that we’ve been waiting for an extremely painful 6 MONTHS. This last season was so boring and we really wanted something new. It took 6 months when it is normally about 2 and a half months! The beginning of season one was amazing… At first after that they had no events and no updates. It was so boring. But, Fortnite got it’s old weird style back that we all love. Today I will discuss everything new this season.

Deadpool Challenges

    There are new Deadpool challenges everyone is hoping for a Deadpool skin. You can do these challenges by going to the HQ and find a vent you need to click on it and you will see a bathroom with a computer. Click the computer and you will see weekly challenges. After completing the weekly challenges you will get a special prize this week you can get a plunger pickaxe. We are hoping that maybe after 8 weeks we will earn a Deadpool skin.

HQ

    Since this season has a spy theme we get an HQ. In this HQ you will be able to access weekly challenges, Daily Challenges, Deadpool Challenges, The Vault, Agents, and the Battle Pass. But we need to talk about The Vault,The Vault is used for the special skin Maya. Maya has a new challenge every week to unlock a new custom thing for the skin like a hat or shirt.

Agents

    Agents are skins from the Battle Pass. In the HQ you can view different characters and complete 18 of their challenges to give them a variant, Ghost or Shadow. These are two different looks, but instead of being able to unlock both you can only choose one side so choose wisely.

New Locations

    There are 5 new locations: The Rig, The Shark, The Grotto, The Yacht, and The Agency. All of these locations are specially spy themed, They have secret passageways, the ability to crawl through vents, defeat a boss, get a keycard to open a vault full of amazing loot, blend in and disguise yourself as a henchmen, and maybe soon fly a helicopter out of there. Also did I mention that the bosses have OP mythical weapons if you defeat them.

Disguises

    Yes you can now disguise yourself as an AI and you won’t get caught, You can walk past cameras and sneak around without getting bothered but if you hurt henchmen the disguise will go off, cameras will sound alarms, and you will get murdered by 40 AI’s. Also, there are face scanners these are on doors and special chests so these will only open if you have your disguise on. And no you can’t break open chests the items won’t come out, i’ve tried…

Battle Pass

    The Battle Pass is very new and unique, unlike the last season. This season you can surf two special gliders. There is a missile that you can surf on and an adventure time looking creature named Ollie. But that’s not it, on ground Skye (Ollie’s owner) has a built in emote that allows you to ride on Ollie on land. Another thing that is unique to this Battle Pass is Ghost and Shadow Variants. Each skin has these, as I said before these choices are permanent so be smart with your choices I’ve already regretted choosing Ghost Brutus Shadow Brutus is way better.

  • Drum Gun.
  • Heavy Sniper Rifle.
  • Grapplers.
  • Remote Explosives (C4)
  • Launch Pad (Competitive Only)
  • Minigun (i’m sorry but it’s true)
  • Boom Bow.
  • Suppressed Pistol.

This season is amazing and the battle Pass is so worth it trust me I bought it. And if you do you might get a Deadpool skin.

Gameplay

Gameplay for MLB The Show 20 is smoother than it’s ever been. They have fixed some of the weird animations you get now, such as an outfielder missing a routine fly ball, or a shortstop holding onto the ball instead of throwing it. 

They also have fixed hitting animations. When you used to good-good a ball, it would usually turn into an out. There is another level, perfect-perfect. It’s almost guaranteed no to become a hit if it’s perfect-perfect.  

Road To The Show

Multi-Reward challenges are now in the game. This motivates and rewards players to hit better, which makes the fanbase of MLB The Show that much stronger. You can now get multiple rewards for completing challenges. Obviously, the harder the challenge, the more rewards you earn.

On-field relationships are also a new addition. The stronger of a relationship you have with another player, the better you play together. For instance, a second baseman and shortstop that have a strong connection will start turning double plays that you see in a top 10 highlight reel. Behind the backflips, barehand grabs, jumping throws, etc. 

Franchise Mode

Franchise mode was always one of the modes in the game that never was as popular as modes like Battle Royale, or even Diamond Dynasty. With some of the new modes in Franchise, it’s bound to become more popular.

Custom leagues are now in the game. This allows you to change the league to your liking. If there is a rule you don’t like, you can get rid of it. Free agency can be turned off. The list goes on. 

Minor League teams are now becoming better than ever. San Diego Studios says, “They got next”. After all they are the next generation of bright stars. The minor leagues are becoming more consistent, more powerful. This is making the game more exciting and promising. 

Relocation and Rebranding are now better than ever. Unfortunately, some cities aren’t able to afford a Major League team. That changes with MLB The Show. Rebranding allows you to rename your team, edit jerseys, logo, etc. Relocation lets you move your team to another location. If you wanted to, you could move the Dodgers to our own Salt Lake City.

Evolution of Xbox

The Xbox started off with a box that looked like it did nothing to the soon being released Xbox Series X with a whole new design it’s a weird evolution, so with that being said let’s jump into it. I already did an evolution article on Iphone which I would definitely recommend if you are into that.

 

Xbox

The very first Xbox was released November 15, 2001. You had to play with a wired controller at the time because there was no way to connect a wireless controller to it in 2001 because at the time it was hard to get a bluetooth controller to connect to an Xbox considering it was the first one they made and they didn’t really know how to make a good bluetooth controller without it being big and bulky and uncomfortable to hold. So they made it wireless so they didn’t have to spend more money as if they hadn’t already spent enough trying to make a good design. They could have spent more but they found the good design with the standard wired controller for comfortability reasons and people liked the design of no charging.

 

Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 was the second Xbox to come out, and came out on November 22, 2005. With the new Xbox they got wireless controller which some people like and didn’t like, one of the things they liked was that it was wireless but a downside to the wireless part was it needed batteries so you had to constantly have an extra set a batteries or else you couldn’t play your Xbox games which would be really annoying if you just got a new game and you couldn’t play it.

 

Xbox One

The Xbox One came out on November 22, 2013 which a lot of people liked the design of the Xbox and the Controller. They liked the design of the Xbox because of how it only had a white light on it instead of a bright green light. And people also liked the controller because the batteries go inside the controller instead of having to have a battery pack on the back like on the Xbox 360 where you had to add on a little pack for the batteries which annoyed some people that didn’t want to have extra bulk. And it had better processors so it was faster and could get more games than the Xbox 360.

 

Xbox One S

The Xbox One S is a white and skinnier version of the Xbox One. The Xbox One S has a faster processor than the Xbox One. It is much faster to load games and doesn’t cost that much more than the Xbox One. It is much better looking but most people didn’t want it because they had just gotten their normal Xbox One and they didn’t want to spend more money because they had already gotten to Xbox One and decided it would be fine for a while longer or they’ll just get on of the newer ones once they come out. What they didn’t know is how much better the Xbox One S is compared to the Xbox One in speed and design and it had better controllers so if anything they were just missing out. 

 

Xbox One X

The Xbox One X is the same design as the Xbox One S except for it is black and has slightly different controllers. The original Xbox One S controllers were only white but you could get them in different colors but same design and you could hook them up to the Xbox One which a lot of people who owned the Xbox One and wanted a different, nicer controller could now do. The Xbox One X was the fastest and most powerful console in the world. It could run about 10 times faster than the Xbox One S and about 20 times faster than the Xbox One. Which is what made a lot of people want to buy it.

 

Xbox Series X (Soon to be Released)

I already wrote a whole article about the Xbox Series X which you can check out here, so I’ll give you a brief rundown. It is a whole new design and shell (the outside). They had to take a lot of time on this one because Microsoft had to find a whole new way to put all of the technology because they decided to make it a vertical design so it would stand up right instead of being horizontal like all the other Xbox’s. Sure you can just stand up your Xbox to Xbox One X but this one is different. Microsoft made this one so it will always stand upright. You can lay it on it’s side but then it looks like you have a big box on your desk and it can ruin the software because it shifts it. Now you might be asking,”Wouldn’t it hurt the Xbox One’s software to put it on it’s side?” The answer is no because it’s software is packed so tightly together so it can’t shift or move in anyway.

Origins Big O Gaming Pc

In honor of its 10th anniversary, Origin built the Big O pc. This pc is built from a Corsair Crystal Series 280X case but the case was modified to fit a pc and Xbox or PlayStation.

Specs (For The Old Version)

The spec of the pc are pretty good, the pc part of the build has a 6-core i5 9600K, 16gb ram, 1tb hard drive, 250gb SSD, and an Nvidia 1660 GPU,

On the console side, you could either get an Xbox one s all digital or a ps4 pro. The pc/console also comes with a Nintendo Switch dock. The price for this beast starts at $2,499 but with a ps4 pro, it is an extra $146.

Specs (For New 2020 Version)

During ces 2020 Origin launched the new and improved console/pc hybrid with updated specs. You can get up to a ryzen 9 3900X 12 core processor or an intel core i9 9900K CPU. Ps4 pro or Xbox one s. Aio liquid cooling for both Xbox and desktop CPUs. Up to 2080ti. Up to 32gb of 3200mhz ram. 750watt PSU. Also, you can upgrade the SSD and hard drive in both the pc and console. Optional streaming card and optional custom laser etching UV lighting and RGB components. Plus any corsair peripherals including RGB fans.

The beast is starting at $2499 and will climb if you add the customizations.

The big o pc is one of the most awesome and affordable pc/console. but if you feel like it you can even upgrade it yourself by adding better ram, CPU or even a full water cooling loop. But this pc is still great without upgrades because 32 GB ram is more than enough for web browsing or gaming and 3200mhz is not enough for ryzen, especially with a 12 core CPU. Usually, you would want 3600 speed because of ryzen benefits for high speed. And the specific ram has a CAS latency of 16 making the time over 8 nanoseconds but because of its higher clock speed, it makes it average.

 The Motherboard in this beast is the Asrock x570m pro4 this is a great board but loses some style points. but the board does have 6 SATA ports and 2pcie ports which is good for a matx board. and this board supports up to a 3950x which is AMD’s new 3950x which has 16 core and 32 threads

You should get because there is nothing like it you can stream on a computer and game on an Xbox and it would take up less space than a pc and external Xbox, and I bet that origin would make a better one with the new Xbox series x coming out this holiday and the Xbox is even more powerful graphics which would make playing and streaming on the big o better and more enjoyable.

 and maybe just maybe they might add a VR sold with the pc because who doesn’t like VR. Also, they might add the new ps5 coming soon. If they are going to upgrade it is going to be a video game destroyer on both Xbox/ps or pc games

If they do decide to remake the big o pc they need to add 64gb of ram and better CPUs and better consoles and a full liquid loop it would really make it better.

Everything about Season 2 Chapter 2

   Epic Games gave us the longest wait in history for this season… and it was WORTH IT!!! I will be discussing everything new in the battle pass and the new skin variants.

Ghost and Shadow variants

    There are new variants called ghost and shadow variants. You may think oh cool two extra styles. NO, WRONG they made so when you choose your style that’s the one you choose, it’s permanent. So choose wisely.

Ride on your gliders

     You can now ride on your gliders, well two right now. There is a rocket and an Adventure Time looking creature. When you jump out of the battle bus you surf on the rocket and sit on the Adventure Time creature. But not only that but you can ride on the AT thing on LAND.

New skins 

There are super cool skins but one of the Tier 1 characters are what we’ve all been waiting for, it’s CUSTOMIZABLE!!!

It’s the lovable Peely but he’s in a tux

Maya:

The first skin that you can customize besides the banner people but this one has a lot of choices. You can unlock these customizations by doing special challenges.

Brutus:

He’s a cool looking bodyguard. He has the shadow form which is him as a thug with a skull mask and his ghost form which looks like Baymax stuffed in a stormtrooper suit.

She’s the owner of the rocket that you surf on.

A very scary and muscled tabby cat henchman with dancing abs.

Skye: 

The girl that reminds us all of the amazing show, Adventure Time named Skye.

Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s new Xbox, it has more of a computer tower look compared to the standard Xbox One and 360. It has almost the same controllers though as the Xbox One, the Xbox Series X runs on it will run on a AMD Zen 2 CPU as well as some custom AMD accessories. It will be a very big jump from the standard horizontal design to the vertical tower like design 

Comparison Between One and Series X

The Xbox One has the standard horizontal so for someone to get a whole different design of an Xbox is kind of a big deal mainly for the people who play Xbox a lot to get a whole new design of an Xbox and even more powerful than what they had before getting the Xbox Series X. And the Xbox Series X has more technological things involved like how Microsoft can fit the same amount of technology plus more in an if anything smaller casing. It’s almost like when the Xbox One S came out, it had more technology but in a smaller casing.

Now you might be wondering “Why to put it in a smaller casing?” or “Why do you need more technology?” And the answer is that it runs faster with more technology which is what people want and if it has a smaller casing it would be easier to travel with. Of course, there’s always the screen that you can attach onto the Xbox One S which is probably more convenient for traveling and playing with your friends, but if you are going on a plane ride somewhere and you don’t plan on wanting to play Xbox on the way there but you only want to play it at your hotel then the Xbox Series X is a good choice for you because it isn’t as big so you could fit it in your bag and it is also easy for you to set it up, and it’s lightweight so you don’t have to feel like you’re carrying 50 lbs in your bag.

Why the Xbox Series X is Good?

The reason why it’s so good is because it runs faster and has more technology like I said, but more people will want to buy it because of how fast it runs, and at most Microsoft stores they let you test the actual console to see it you like the Specs and the Speed of the console. Also, people want to have the best and the fastest so they can load their game faster than most other consoles.
