You should not leave your guns next to your kids because…
1. They are just kids they don’t think that much. So if they grab it they are going to start to play with it. So if it is loaded and ready to fire because they child safety is off they might on accident pull the trigger or they might leave it next to something hot then it well shoots and it might kill or hurt someone/Them.
2.If they play video games with guns or something they are going to think that guns are cool. So they’ll buy a BB gun. Then after a time, they will want more because the BB gun will not be good enough so they will grab the parents real gun and then it might end badly.
3. If they see a bullet on the floor they will grab it and they will eat it or they will start playing with it and if they are not lucky the bullet we’ll explode or the ash we’ll get out in his or her mouth. Or they might swallow it.
4. Guns can go off at any time. They can go off when it’s cold or too hot.so if you keep your gun in like a safe or a box in the attic or in the garage. The gun might go off and It might hurt someone or something. Because the attic can get way too hot sometimes and the garage can get way too cold sometimes.
5. Another thing is that some kids don’t think when they are angry because they have anger issues or because they had problems throughout their life. So if someone bullies them they might get in that stage that they don’t think. So because they don’t think they might grab the gun and do something bad.Even Though they will regret it later.
6. Some people might grow up in a bad and not safe environment. So meanwhile they grow up they might use their parent’s gun to do not so great things like they might threaten or they might rob people or they might even sell the gun to someone who might want to do something bad.
7. Also if they hear a noise they will grab the gun for protection because they didn’t know anyone was home so they might shoot you or a brother or sister or if they had a friend over them might even shoot them. Also if there really scared and they hear something they might shoot and make a hole in the propane tank and it would explode everything.
8. Also if your kid is having problems with another kid he might grab his parent’s gun and kill the kid or kill the whole family because he might not be thinking about what’s happening at that moment so he will just do what he thinks is right at the time.
