Joseph Kosinski directed Top Gun Maverick. He has also directed many other movies, such as F1, Oblivion, and Tron. He has directed more, but those are some of the best movies Joseph Kosinski has directed. 

Top Gun Maverick is a sequel to the movie Top Gun. Both movies feature fighter jets as the main theme.

In Top Gun Maverick, Captain Pete (callsign Maverick) Mitchell gets put back into the program Top Gun where he was 30 years prior in Top Gun. 

While in Top Gun, Maverick is in the program Top Gun, in the second movie, Top Gun Maverick, Maverick is training the pilots in Top Gun.

Now you may be thinking, “What is the program Top Gun?” Well, the Top Gun program is a program where you learn to become the best of the best. Learning air combat maneuvering tactics and techniques to selected naval aviators and naval flight officers, who return to their operating units as surrogate instructors. Just like Maverick.

Maverick must teach Phoenix, Bob, Hangman, and Rooster. Along with Payback and Coyote. While Maverick taught many others, these pilots got to be a part of the mission.

Maverick is called back to Top Gun where he learns about the mission he must train his pilots to do. A uranium enrichment plant is their target for it is a direct threat to their allies. 

In the first Top Gun, Maverick’s buddy, Goose, dies. His wife tells Maverick to not let her son join Top Gun but it does not go as planned. Maverick pulled Roosters papers for that was the only way to not have Goose’s son fly in Top Gun. Maverick and Rooster don’t get along at the start because Rooster knows Maverick pulled his papers. 

They must fly through a canyon in an F18 fighter jet, destroy the plant, and pull 9 G’s to leave the area surrounding the plant (a huge mountain named Coffin Corner) Along the canyons are enemy SAMs or surface-to-air missiles. This is why they must fly in the canyon and not above it.

According to Boeing, “The combat-proven Super Hornet (F18) delivers cutting-edge, next-generation multi-role strike fighter capability, outdistancing current and emerging threats well into the future. The Super Hornet has the capability, flexibility, and performance necessary to modernize the air or naval aviation forces of any country.”

They first start by launching the F18s/Daggers off the carrier. Maverick whose wingmen are Phoenix and Bob, Rooster whose wingmen are Coyote and Payback. They also launch Tomahawk Missiles from the carrier to destroy the enemy’s nearby fighter station. As the missiles hit and the Daggers are flying, nearby are two bandits. The daggers must continue with the mission and continue moving. Rooster and his wingman fall behind while Maverick and his wingman keep going. They pass multiple SAMs and are told two bandits are headed their way. Maverick and his wingman fly over a small part of the mountain and launch the first “Miracle.” It hits the vent leading into the plant and creates a gap for the next Daggers. Maverick then must fly up Coffin Corner. The next pair of Daggers come over the small part of the mountain and launch the second miracle. But they have trouble with a camera and must launch it ‘blind.’ Fortunately, it still hits but must fly over Coffin Corner.

After all this, it’s a dog fight all the way home. They dodge missiles from enemy SAMs and launch flairs. They make it except for one. Maverick. They are ordered to not help him. But as Maverick is on the ground, an enemy’s helicopter comes in. It starts firing at Maverick. No one can help Mav but himself. But someone didn’t listen. Rooster flies by launching a sidewinder into the side of the helicopter but gets smashed by a missile from a SAM. As he parachutes down they find each other. They plan to steal a jet. The jog over to the station they blew up. There is still one jet. An F14. A jet Mav mastered in the first Top Gun. They manage to steal it without anyone noticing. But the two bandits come into sight. As they exchange signs, Mav doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The two bandits move into weapons envelope. Maverick knows this is a dogfight. As he blasts the first bandit into pieces with his jet-mounted machine gun, the second comes behind him trying to lock onto him to fire a missile. He manages to escape and have him run into a mountain. They are free but out of ammo. A new jet comes in front of them launching a missile at them. They launch their flares to evade but the jet follows. They decide to eject but it doesn’t work. They are done for. As the jet launches a missile at Mav and Rooster, the jet blows up. What happened? A spare Dagger, Hangman, missile the jet down with his F18. They fly back to the carrier with only a broken wheel and a downed engine. They make it safely.

Top Gun Maverick is a movie many people love and for good reasons. Top Gun Maverick is a movie you should watch too.

These are some of the deadliest sea creatures in the world. This is about how deadly they are and where they are located on the earth. Some might not seem harmful but they have a powerful venom punch. So be careful the next time you go to the beach.

Box jellyfish

These grocery bag looking fish are cool but also very venomous. Box jellyfish live in warm coastal waters around the world. Their tentacles can reach up to 3m long! It doesn’t seem that long but that is over 9 feet! Their venom can cause people to die of heart failure, and they are one of the most venomous sea creatures. There are between 40 and 100 deaths a year.

Beaked Sea Snake

These slithering sea snakes are found in the Arabian Sea, Persian Gulf, south of the Seychelles, Madagascar, the seas of South Asia and Southeast Asia. These creatures hold a powerful toxin. This toxin can cause paralysis and can lead to respiratory failure. Bites from this snake are rare, because of their non-aggressive attitude to humans. Though they are considered aggressive. Most bites from them are from fishers trying to untangle them from their nets.

Cone snail

Cone snails are small but mighty. They live in shallow water near coral reefs but they also hide in sand. They hunt by sending out a hollow venom filled harpoon. 30 deaths are ever recorded, and none are anti-venom. So be careful when you pick up snail shells at the beach.

Stone Fish

These stone looking fish are practically invisible. They live in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, Red Sea, East Africa, French Polnesia, Ryukyu and Ogasawara islands, Australia. These fish have defensive dorsal spines that can release a powerful venom if they are disturbed. If you get poisoned by this fish it can lead to death. So be careful when you go swimming in the ocean.

Blue-ringed Octopus

They might look beautiful but they have one of the most potent venom in the sea. Blue ringed octopuses live in the Sea of Japan, Waters of southern Australia, The Philippines and Vanuatu. They have salivary glands that produce tetrodotoxin which is another poison. They disperse the venom throughout their body as a defense mechanism. This venom can cause paralysis. Injuries to humans are from being bitten and by accidentally eating it.

Puffer Fish

Puffer fish are found in marine habitats, some can be found in freshwater rivers in Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa. They are neurotoxic when consumed. They are on Japanese menus as “fugu”. Chefs have to be specialty trained to properly prepare puffer fish to serve it in their restaurant. Why these creatures are deadly is because of food poisoning if they are not properly prepared for people to eat. Most of this food poisoning comes from people catching them and preparing it themselves without the proper training.

Stingray

Stingrays are a beautiful fish that live in the Pacific and western Atlantic. Stingrays have venomous barbs on their tail. When they are disturbed they will move their tail. Being attacked by one is a very small chance but they have been known to attack people who have disturbed them.

Saltwater Crocodile

Saltwater crocodiles live in India’s east coast, Southeast Asia and the Sudaic region to northern Australia and Micronesia. They have the strongest bite in the animal world. They are aggressive when they are defending their territory. There have been 47 attacks on humans in Queensland Australia, between 1985 and July 2023. 13 of these have ended in a fatality.

Great White Shark

Great white sharks live in South Africa, Australia/New Zealand, the North Atlantic, and Northeastern Pacific. Out of 949 confirmed unprovoked attacks by sharks on humans ever recorded, 351 were by great whites. 59 of these attacks were fatal. There were only 108 unprovoked attacks in 2022. 32 bites came from situations where sharks reacted to harassment of which only 9 were fatal.

Lion fish live coral reefs in the tropical water of the South Pacific and Indian Ocean. These fish have over a dozen spines with powerful venom that causes extreme pain. Some rare cases include paralysis, shortness of breath and nausea. They are not known to attack people but injuries do occur when people get too close.

How Swating Could be More Dangerous Than Safe

Swatting occurs when there is a false report about a gun or a gunfire, or a harm/threat to someone or something. There have been many incidents were there’s a false report, then SWAT comes to terrify everyone. When there is a false report, SWAT doesn’t know, so they come in aggressively, and create more harm than safety. Some people have ended up dead or dangerously injured from these SWAT/police officers, when there was no real danger in the first place.    

There have been studies saying that Swatting increases the likelihood of harm, when their job is supposed to protect us and help us feel safe. But are they actually doing what they’re meant to do?

 

With SWAT’s aggression, they board up exits, so people can’t get out of the situation, causing way more harm and chaos than safety, especially in false situations. Which is the opposite of what they’re supposed to do. 

With Nikki Halley, she has stated that SWAT has come into her house before and has put a lot of harm on her and her neighbors. She’s opened up the details on the swatting incident that happened to her, in her home in south Carolina, and has stated “this wasn’t the first time it has happened.” Nikki says that she and her husband were not there when SWAT showed up, but her elderly parents were there. SWAT could have done way more harm to her parents, especially because they were elderly.

Nikki states that “I will tell you that the last thing you want is to see multiple law enforcement officials with guns drawn, pointing at my parents, and thinking something happened.” then she stated “It wasn’t the first time it happened.” which in these types of situations, especially with Nikki’s, it could be extremely scary.

 

 These same situations have happened to thousands of people, that didn’t get the chance to share their story about these scary encounters with the law informant 

 

In other incidents, Swatting has led to deaths. One of them, in Wichita Kansans, Andrew Finch had a false alarm of a man shooting and killing his family members while holding them hostage. SWAT was outside his house, so when he opened the door, and walked out, he was shot to death with a sniper. This is one of the many stories that have shown us that swatting can turn fatal. Which in a real scenario could require a SWAT team, but in false cases have the same outcome. 

 

Officials have been swatting on their highest levels earlier this month, SWAT was called to the white house due to a false report of a fire. President Biden wasn’t present in the white house, as he was currently at Camp David. While he was there, local elections were getting threats from people who don’t trust the vote counting system.

In Arizona a republican man has been suspected of threats after the 2020 election results. He’s decided that he will not seek reelection.

 

There are violent threats where SWAT is required, and is there to keep people safe. Such as the incident on January 6th, 2021, where SWAT was needed to protect the people in office. That was the day when an angry mob of pro-trump people stormed the capitol, threatening to kill people in office, and stop the election certification. In these situations we need SWAT, but their aggression killed people that day.

The SWAT has killed people or almost killed people for false reports in the past. So how can we fix this?

Roblox might look like a fun safe game for kids but it really is not. Roblox has content such as sex acts, killing, the idea of murder, nudity and most dangerous. You play Roblox online and can chat with adults trying to get your information, scam you and much more. 

 

The games 

Roblox is a game that has a ton of minnie games in that one game, but some of the games are not appropriate for kids at the age of seven to nine. For example, like i said before there are minnie games, such as shedletsky’s dirty place is not appropriate for young kids at all. Shedletsky’s Dirty Place is a Roblox sex game where Shedletsky tries to do very dirty games with you and the game targets the ages thirteen and below. Kids that have played this game have been reported getting very bad nightmares. Some other roblox games that are not appropriate are, survive the killer, shower simulator, dance clubs and much more . Surviving the killer is one of those games that have extreme violence. Shower simulator falls under a sexual minnie game not appropriate for kids and dance club games are okay but should be taken seriously because if you don’t have any parental control your kid can most likely talk and chat with people all around the world. 

Your avatar

In a game you have to have a charter or yourself but when you are making your avatar you want to be careful because you can put on a body suit that makes you look naked. If parents are going to let their kid play roblox you have to restrict it and make sure you don’t have your credit card hooked up on the device. If you have your credit card hooked up to the device they’re playing on you can lose a lot of money because your kid is buying robux, what makes it worse is to buy robux all you have to do is push a few buttons and boom money, wasted. 

 

Addict 

Like some other games it is super easy for your kid to be stuck on Roblox and only play Roblox for their free time. To put things into perspective the more you’re on Roblox the more your mental health goes way down and they’re not out playing with friends and learning valuable collaboration skills and social skills. For example sometimes my brother has tantrums when he cant play Roblox or when something in his favorite minnie game is gone. When my brother started playing Roblox he was glued onto the screen for hours. 

Kidnappers

A thirteen year old girl was kidnapped from an old man she made friends with on Roblox thinking he was her age. Thankfully she was returned home safely after police found her two days after missing and arrested the man named, Howard graham. Kidnapping is such a real thing that can happen when you are not careful on Roblox {there are also kidnapping minnie games in Roblox where the player has to kidnap innocent people.} 

 

People 

I have already touched this topic a bit in this review but there is more to just talking to people.  When you play with people and talk to them long enough you can be brainwashed and you can be making a friend  that back stabs you or just targets you for really inappropriate things.

 

Mental health 

Mental health is the key for a good, nice future and when your kids’ mental health plumits because of sleep deprivation and horrific Roblox games this just makes their mental health worse. On the other hand when your kid is non stop playing Roblox that can make their mental and physical health worse. When your kids play Roblox all day they can stop wanting to go to school or do school, or hang out with friends unless they’re on Roblox too. 

 

Conclusion

The conclusion of this whole article is of course roblox is bad for kids but like I have said before, roblox is just a dirty game you kids can get addicted to, lose mental health, they can meet very dangerous people and they can play dangerous games with adult content. Sum up this whole thing, roblox is bad and kids probably should not play roblox.

Vladimir Putin is a very powerful man, and he uses his power for the worst. There are many reasons why he is considered the world’s most feared and dangerous man. I’ll be breaking down all of the reasons for you.

Vlad’s history with the KGB

The first big reason is his background. Vlad was an Ex-KGB. The KGB was a part of the Soviet Union and was used for gathering intelligence for the state. Although he may have spent most of his life behind a desk going through paperwork, he was provided with a lot of intelligence from the KGB although, the majority of the intelligence that was provided for Vlad was useless, some were very pivotal for Vlad himself. After Vlad had left KGB, he decided to run for president because of his political history. In 1999, Vlad was appointed as Prime Minister under President Yeltsin. At this point, Vlad was considered Yeltsin’s successor, President Yeltsin also openly considered Vlad as his successor many times. Fast forward a year, Vlad has been made president of Russia because Yeltsin resigned several months before the election. Right after Vlad won, he made a deal with the Russian oligarchs. The Russian oligarchs had incredible power over the country and were considered the most feared group in Russia at the time, so Vlad made a deal with them, saying that if they stood behind him, they could keep their power. Many of the oligarchs made a bond with Vlad and helped him to rule Russia.

Putin’s Power

Another big reason is his power. Vladimir Putin has the power to assassinate any man on the earth that talks bad about him and the way he rules. There has also been a lot of evidence against Putin that he was the cause of many of the Russian citizens’ deaths that spoke against him, and if you were to speak against Putin in Russia, consider yourself a dead man. He has links with a lot of dangerous people, and at any moment, you could be assassinated. He has his ways and ties, and if Putin wanted you dead, then you would be dead. Not only does Putin have the power to assassinate you, but he has the power to disassemble large regions of the world. Those large regions beaning Ukraine and Syria.

Lastly, Vladimir has lots of nuclear power. Vlad is not only a wealthy man but a dangerous one. He could single-handedly bring about the end of the world with his nuclear power. It could be a total nuclear Armageddon if Vlad wanted to release his full power. Many times, he has almost started World War III. The only reason it hasn’t happened is because of how feared he is by many Nations. Vlad is also accountable for many human rights violations in Russia.

Tik Tok, a media-based platform to update kids, teenagers, and even adults on recent trends, and for fun dances. But there is also a dark side of the fun, trend-following platform, The Challenges. Kids, teens, and even adults are following these “Harmful” challenges. The challenges are slowly getting worse. For example, In August the challenge was to make it across stacked milk crates and not fall. WeAreTeachers.com states “Last month, TikTok banned the Milk Crate Challenge from their platform. If you’re curious, a quick YouTube search will reveal a bunch of people filming themselves or their friends falling painfully to the ground after stacking milk crates into a pyramid and trying to walk over it.” But, before this became viral another challenge came into view, the Cha Cha Slide challenge. This is where people would follow the directions from the song the Cha Cha Slide, by DJ Casper in the car. Weareteachers.com also says “There were also other more alarming trends—the Benadryl Challenge, the Blackout Challenge, and so on. Now, it seems like the latest dangerous TikTok challenge has emerged almost from out of nowhere. Most students call it “Devious Licks” and it’s directly aimed at schools.” This shows that Tiktok is more dangerous than we think. This new “Devious Licks” challenge has kids vandalizing and stealing school property. 

You may think that this is funny, possibly harmless, however, it encourages students to steal from school and see how much they can get away with. Weareteacher.com says “ Most of the stolen items have been small, like soap dispensers, hand sanitizers, rolls of paper towels, or boxes of masks. Other students, however, have pushed the trend to its limit stealing much larger items. These larger Devious licks include kids stealing computers, smart boards, projectors, etc. They are all captioned with “Had the most devious lick at school today.” This shows that kids are trying to push past the believable limits. But that’s not all. Even though they steal, they vandalize schools. I have witnessed this myself, I have seen kids drawing in the bathroom stalls with permanent markers, pens, and pencils. www.cnbc.com says “ TikTok says 1 billion people use the app each month” The challenge’s change monthly, October is to assault a teacher, yeah, you heard me assault a teacher. This challenge is to go up to a teacher and either verbally assault them, or physical assault. I don’t mean start a fistfight in the lunchroom with teachers, I mean go up and slap them. I have had teachers tell the whole classroom that if this were to happen to them they would send the student down to the police officer downstairs and press charges. I can only imagine how bad next month’s challenge is, just imagine all arrest warrants, or charges pressed. So my opinion is that Tik Tok should ban all of these challenges when they first arise. This way they don’t continue further on and spread. Or even better ban the users that create and promote these dangerous challenges.

Dogs

These furry, lovable creatures are known as a mans best friend, but many species of this animal are very dangerous. With rapid dogs every where around the world 25,000 humans are killed by this animal every year. Although, dogs can be very sweet, and loving be careful that you are not getting into any trouble with this life threatening creature.

Many countries have a large number of stray dogs, including India are the most affected. In India many people, mostly children die from stray dogs with rabies, or other deadly diseases.

Dogs bite humans about 4.5 million times a year but only about 30% of the people actually die from the bite. Of course not all dogs are mean, killers a lot of dogs are super friendly, adorable, and lovable. 

Crocodiles

 Just in Africa there are hundreds of crocodile attacks on human per year, about half the attacks are fatal, depending on the species. Most of the attacks take place in a small town, or community. 

Crocodiles definitely kill more humans that sharks, killing about 1,000 humans a year crocodiles are ranked way more dangerous than sharks. 

Crocodiles are way more dangerous and aggressive than alligators but alligators are still very dangerous. In Florida only 22 people have died from alligators since 1948. 

Hippopotamus

Believe it or not hippopotamus is the most deadly animal in the world. killing an estimated 500 people per year, Hippos are very aggressive creatures, and they have very sharp teeth.

Hippos weigh normally about 2750kg and can crush a human to death within seconds. You definitely don’t want to get stuck under one of these large land mammals. 

These were some of the deadliest animals in the world. If you come near one that looks ready to strike I would suggest getting to a safe place as soon as possible.

People everywhere around the world believe that football or maybe hockey sometimes even soccer is the most dangerous sport, but I am here to tell you that none of those are more dangerous than the sport we all know as cheer. When you hear the word cheer the first thing that comes to your mind is the peppy girls on the sideline of football games, but little do you know is that those same peppy girls could have just dropped a girl and hurt her really bad during practice. In cheer you never know what could happen. Here are my two reasons why I believe cheer is the most dangerous sport.

1. Stunting

My first reason why I believe that cheerleading is the most dangerous sport is stunting. Stunting is when you have three people underneath what we call a top girl, or flyer two of the people underneath are called the bases. The bases lift up the flyer making sure she is safe and sturdy on their hands, the bases chuck and twist the flyer around everywhere. The flyer just has to hope and pray that the bases are going to be there at the end of the stunt to catch her. In a stunt you have a flyer, bases, and a backspot. The backspot is the third person underneath, the backspot helps lift the flyer, and well spots their back. It’s the backspots job to make sure the flyer has good technique, and stays in the air. All it takes is one person to trip, catch wrong, let go, or mess up for the whole stunt to come crashing down. This not only can leave the flyer in pain but it can deeply hurt the bases or backspot. Stunting has led to many injuries such as concussions, broken bones, and sometimes even death. The bases could drop a flyer on her neck and not only could that be the end of her cheering career but it could be the end of her life. This is my first reason why I believe cheer is the most dangerous sport.

2. Tumbling

My second reason that cheerleading is the most dangerous sport is the tumbling. Tumbling takes skill. The cheerleaders have to be able to twist, and flip their bodies with perfect technique so they don’t hurt themselves. These athletes get injured everyday trying to land a new trick or pushing their bodies too far. You can get seriously injured if you try to do something your body isn’t ready for. Unfortunately cheerleaders do this quite a bit. Oftentimes coaches will tell the athletes to try something, and to just pull it this can lead to many injuries because the cheerleader wasn’t used to the skill yet. One of the main parts in cheerleading is the tumbling, so the cheerleaders have to get good at it without hurting themselves. If one person gets hurt on the team it could affect the rest of the teams cheer season. Cheerleading definitely takes a lot of time and focus to make sure your body stays in shape and in a healthy condition. This is my second reason why cheerleading is the most dangerous sport.

In conclusion, I believe cheerleading is the most dangerous sport because, the athletes do stunting which can cause injury within seconds, and cheerleaders tumble a lot which can make their bodies uncomfortable if they do it wrong. Cheerleading can cause many serious injuries and cheerleaders have to be really strong and have the skills to keep themselves safe while doing the sport they love. Social media is where everyone in a friend group can get together and hang out and talk and there is so many apps and it is very dangerous do to people who are stupid. These people try to gather all of your info so the goal is to avoid them.

Who to watch for

You should watch for people who try to act flawless. When they act like that it normally means they are the opposite of that and that they are trying to get a hold of you and find out the information they normally look for. Look out for the people who want to get together and hang if you don’t know them. These can be bad people because you don’t know them and the way they might have sounded these are probably not the people you are looking for. 

All about the danger

There are so many dangerous things to look for when you are on it but where could the dangerous people be hiding? The most common social media sights are normally the ones with the creepers and where they will try to track you down and try to find all your personal information. 

It can be fun

Social media can be fun to communicate with your friends and post your everyday life or the stuff you like and go look at other people’s posts and stories. You can also stay in touch with friends that moved away. You can text them, but when you post fun things it’s so much more effective and interesting when you follow them and share your life after they left with colors, music, etc.

Kids who do this can get arrested and the kids’ parents will most likely get a fine for not being the best at parenting.
