Journalism

Journalism is more than what you see on the nightly news broadcast on your local television station. It’s more than just the talking heads that debate the latest trending topics. Considered the Fourth Estate, journalism is the way most people today receive information about the world in which we live. It’s one of the most important forms of communication, and it’s important for people to get an understanding of what is at its heart.

In this class, we will learn about the different aspects of journalism by reviewing local and national online news sources, researching various topics, and writing our own news articles.
