Black lives matter protests

The Black Lives Matter protests are a big deal in our country right now. The black community has organized protests down the streets of the country, to point out the racial injustice and Police cruelty in the state’s police stations and justice ruling system. These protests are to ask people not to stereotype them based on the color of their skin, and that the color of their skin doesn’t make them a criminal.

BLM protesters helping police officers

An organizer of a peaceful protest in East Liberty shares water with police supervising the event. Another group of people forms a chain to protect a white officer separated from his unit. Those men showed people that not all BLM protesters are bad and that not all of the police officers stereotype. With all the heat on the black community and the police, this is what our country needs more of.

Black lives matter, protests peaceful?

Police and the government justify sending out the military on civilian people by saying that they are riots and that they are disturbing the peace, yet they are only using their first amendment right of freedom of speech. 93% of BLM protests are peaceful but president Trump on Wednesday evening, Oct. 21, 2020, still claims that all BLM protests are illegal and are violent. Some groups are violent but that does not mean that all of the protests are bad, and are destroying property. So not only are they being judged on the color of their skin they are considered criminals for using their first amendment.

Police cruelty

There are many cases of police cruelty throughout the country. One instance of police cruelty is George Floyd, George Floyd was a victim of police brutality. One day when George Floyd was out driving, he didn’t notice that one of his tail lights was out. When he got pulled over the police officer asked him to step out of the car, when he refused because he had done nothing wrong, the police officer forcibly removed him from the vehicle and held him to the ground with his lag on his neck. He pleaded “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, they’re going to kill me man” as he capt pleading for mercy the police officer that was on top of him continued punching and elbowing him. He died in police custody. Other victims of police cruelty are Justin Howell, Sean Monterrosa. Throws are just three of the people surfing from police cruelty, and racial injustices.

Working for the Big leagues

Baseball, this sport is considered America’s pastime.Baseball needs to become more popular. There are different levels if you are like 5 you play the level of coach pitch, if you are like 9 you start playing kid pitch and so on. Once you are older you can play in high school then move on to go play in college. 

Hard but BANK

Baseball has one of the hardest tasks in sports in it, one of the hardest things to do in sports is hit a fastball with a 2 or 3-inch wide bat and that you have 2 milliseconds to decide if its a ball or a strike and if you’re going to swing or not, then if you do it hit it you have to run to first base and decide if its a good hit and if you get extra bases. Baseball has a major league association called the MLB. It is the second most high paying sport behind the NFL and the biggest salary in the MLB is 33.25 million. Other players get paid a lot but not as much as mike trout, there are 30 teams in the MLB and each has more than 20 men and there are 9 different positions in the game which are pitcher, 1st, 2nd, shortstop, 3rd, left, right, and center field.

A Baseball Players Life

Baseball players have their own lifestyle which is pretty complicated. You might think it must be easy to live in the major leagues, this is for every sport, it’s actually really hard to play in these stages of these sports. Think of how much you have to travel every time you have an away game think about how much you have to pay for the events. These things can obviously be fun to like invite your family to these events, then again your family would have to pay and you’re away from them more than you should be and don’t get to see them very often which can be hard if you are that kind of person.

In the Post-season

The Cardinals lost to the nationals and we knew it would happen when the first game went down but with the additions, we could come out this season. The Cardinals are going to be dominant. The next team that I think will be dominant this year even knows they technically cheated. They seem to be very good in the 2020 season and they are good at both offense and defense. They lost their best pitcher in the off-season and they should not be bad to their players including Jose Altuve, Alex Bregman, etc. Therefore they are going to be pretty good and hold up well. Then again the cardinals additions are going to help the team go further and make it to the wildcard or even the world series.

 

In conclusion, Baseball has history and there are a lot of good players and arguments that could be driven by the sport and for how much it gets paid it is one of the highest-paid and one of the most fun sports that you are able to play as a job.

Number one Cockroach man

   A man living with cockroaches and loving it.  Kyle Kandilian is a university student and isn’t afraid of cockroaches. He has tens of thousands of different insects as well. He has about 200,000 in his home currently. He breeds cockroaches for fun and also for money. The money that he earns from selling them is for paying for his schooling. The average cockroach is about 200 dollars. But the cockroaches did cause problems for his parents.

    Number 2, 14 story building

  14 story, you’re probably wondering 14 stories? But what about a whole town in 14 stories? They live in Whittier, Alaska and their whole town lives there. There is a hospital, police station, they have a school too. Also they have one playground which is also inside like everything else. But about 700,000 tourists come and visit this place mostly in the summer.

  

Number 3 broke

     Would you make yourself go broke? Probably not but this family did, they believed that money hypnotizes you so they gave it all up. They didn’t care but they had a two year old baby and relied on dumpster food. And they are still happy with this choice. But it’s a good idea but you would be eating garbage and sleeping on the cold floor.

Number 4 False spiders

    This woman named Jay Reich wants to collect all types of venomous spiders. She also wants to be bit by one to prove to the world that they are not that dangerous. She has two adult spider stickers and 4 baby stickers. To get more spiders so she can prove the world, they aren’t as dangerous as they thought.

Number 5 Cat lady

      You’re probably wondering about a cat lady? How many cats do you think they have? You might be thinking 5 to 6 cats. But you haven’t met Lynea. She has 700 hundred cats. Now that’s a lot of cats, she started saving cats after her divorce. Right now she lives alone with her cats with 12-acres for her and her cats.
