Anthony Frank Hawk is someone who got skateboarding famous. When Anthony Frank Hawk was 9 years old he went to a skatepark with his older brother and he saw everyone doing cool tricks so he said at that moment “That’s what I want to do”.His older brother gave him his own skateboard when he was 9 it wasn’t really good but he still loved it he started trying to do tricks at that moment. When he was 11 years old he was a pro skater he knew how to do lots of cool tricks and he was just living the life. When he was around 14 years old he got in a skateboarding competition. While he was doing his tricks and stuff people we’re looking at him as if he was a pro skater his whole entire life they were amazed by his tricks.
After that, he started competing in more competitions and he kept on winning them. Then at like the age 16, he started to make his own clothing and he called it Tony Hawk that was his nickname his clothing got sold out really fast everyone was buying it. Then a short time after people called him asking if he wants to make his own game he said yes and also called it Tony Hawk he was making millions of dollars by it. By the time he was in his 20’s, he won over 70 competitions. Now he has 4 children and a wife he is 51 years old and still skates he had broken bones tho and over like 20 concussions. He also has his own books and movies now and he has his own professional skateboards. His favorite skateboard brand and company is Birdhouse.
Thanks to him, skating is now popular.
