It achieved eight miles per hour during the test drive. After receiving his patent for his gas-powered automobile he began selling it to the public in 1886. His wife promoted it even by taking it on a 66-mile trip. In 1893 there were 1,200 of these cars produced. It became the world’s first inexpensive mass-produced car.

This is considered the first car even though cars came before it. It gets this title because it’s the first gasoline car. Even though it’s not as fast as cars today it is the start of things to come.
