New Marvel Movies to be released

Marvel plans to release 22 movies within the next few years.

Fans are cheering as Marvel plans to release new movies. Before Disney bought Marvel, Marvel was struggling and decided to sell away their best Superheroes, including Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, And the X-Men. However, once Disney bought Marvel Studios, Marvels movies have been increasing in popularity. Recently Marvel was able to buy back its Superheroes. Marvel has currently told us of  22 movies that they plan to release. Although because of COVID-19, many of these have been delayed. Here is a list of the most anticipated ones.

  1. Black Widow: Black Widow fans have been waiting for this long due solo for Black Widow for quite a while. It is supposed to take place after Captain America Civil War but before Avengers Infinity War. Sadly though fans will have to wait longer than the due date, as the movie has been indefinitely postponed because of COVID-19.
  2. Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness: Doctor Strange is finally getting a sequel. Many fans are thinking that they are going to use this movie to incorporate the X-men, instead of trying to explain where they’ve been hiding. Benedict Cumberbatch has agreed to play Doctor Strange again, and there has been word that Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) will be in it too.
  3. Black Panther 2: Marvel Studios has guaranteed that Black Panther will definitely get a sequel. However recent problems have arisen as Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) has recently passed away.
  4. Captain Marvel 2: Much of this movie is currently unknown. The only information that I have managed to gain is that Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) has agreed to continue playing the role of the most powerful superhero in the universe.
  5. Fantastic Four: After being recently bought back, Marvel plans to reboot this epic franchise, and ever since rumors have been told that fan favorite Doctor Doom will return.
  6. Thor Love and Thunder: As seen in the very end of Endgame, Thor left with the Guardians of the Galaxy, leaving Valkyrie behind as leader. Valkyrie, however, needs a Queen, bringing back an old character, Jane Foster.
  7. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Many fans have been wondering whether Marvel was going to make another Guardians of the Galaxy, and the answer is yes! The movie has been canceled once when Marvel fired the director, James Gunn for old tweets on the internet. Upon realizing that they couldn’t release another Guardians of the Galaxy without him, they rehired him. It is still being delayed though because after Gunn got fired, he started directing another movie, and cannot return to do Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 until he has finished it.
  8. Spider-Man Homecoming 3: While Sony still owns the rights to Spider-Man, they have agreed with Marvel to allow at least 1 more Solo Spider-Man and one more MCU with Spider-Man in it. As of right now it is unclear who the villain will be, although fans think it will be Vulture again, as he was one of the main villains in the comic books.
  9. Into The Spiderverse 2: Much is currently unknown about this film, although this time fans think that it will be more focused on Miles now that he has figured out his spider abilities.
  10. Venom 2: Although Sony and Marvel are doing Spider-Man movies together now, Sony is still independently releasing Spider-Man movies. While this movie got a lot of goodish reviews from critics, it was a massive success at the box office.
