Leftover Halloween Candy? Well Here’s 6 Things You Could Do With It

Let me guess Halloweens over but you still have tons of Halloween candy, well here are 6 different things you can do with your leftover Halloween candy.

Donate it

Donate it, many different charities take leftover Halloween candy. If you don’t know what to do with yours you can donate it and help make someone else’s day a little bit better. There are many different places you could donate it to, like treats for troops. Treats for troops is run by Soldiers Angels, when you donate you can get a tax-deductible receipt and your kids can get buyback prizes. Ronald Mcdonald’s house charities take Halloween candy too, they take your candy and give it to kids in the hospital who are sick and couldn’t go trick or treating. Another place you could donate it to is the Halloween candy buyback, this group partners with dentist offices who take your Halloween candy in exchange for a toothbrush or other hygiene items. Giving your candy to any of these charities makes someone’s day better and them a little happier. If you don’t know what to do with your candy, donate it to these charities and many more and they will give it to someone in need. 

 

Sell it

You could sell it. Every kid loves Halloween candy, they will eat so much candy and still want more. You could set up a stand in your neighborhood or park and sell candy. You would get rid of your leftover Halloween candy and make tons of money. 

 

Make treats

Make treats with it. There are lots of different candies that would be great in cookies, milkshakes, cakes, and many others. You could freeze Kit Kats, Snickers, Milky Way, Hershey’s chocolate, Reese’s, Twix, M&M’s, and more and put in milkshakes, Sundays, and cookie dough. Bake it into cakes, cookies, and lots of other treats. An example of a really good treat you could make is m&m’s in chocolate chip cookies. Save it

Save it to decorate your gingerbread houses. Lots of Halloween candy would be great for decorating gingerbread houses around Christmas time. M&m’s and skittles would be great for decorating gingerbread, and if you don’t have a gingerbread man you could also use a sour patch kid. Gingerbread houses are a great way to have fun and spend time with your family and leftover Halloween candy is a great way to decorate them. 

 

Play games

Use it to play games. You could use pretty much any candy to play bingo, checkers, tic tac toe, you could even make a candy guessing jar. All of these games you could play at school, and with friends and family. These games are a fun way to spend time with people and using your leftover Halloween candy makes it all easier. 

 

Eat it

Lastly, you could always eat it. The delicious milky chocolate, Kitkats, M&Ms, Hershey’s, Twix, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Butterfingers, Milky Ways, and many more. Or the delicious sweet and sour candy, sour patch kids, skittles, Twizzlers, nerds, sweet tarts, and more. If you don’t want to donate, make stuff with it, save it, or play games with it then you might as well eat it.
