Things to make with Thanksgiving leftovers

When you’re done with thanksgiving dinner and you stock your fridge and there’s no more room, you need to get rid of some food right? Wrong! All you need to do is make some new dishes using leftovers. Then you get new food and more room in the fridge. 

 

 The leftovers

Turkey is the main dish and assuming that it was Delicious then you can make a Turkey sandwich. All you need is a dinner roll, some mustard, mayonnaise, and some turkey and if you want to add more flavor then add some salt and pepper. You can also use leftovers for lunch the next day. Another thing you can make is a Thanksgiving ring. (recipe at the bottom). You can also make Turkey noodle soup Instead of chicken noodle soup. You could make some turkey cheese dip (recipe at the bottom). Another thing you can make is roasted Turkey lasagna (recipe at the bottom).

 

 The dessert

 One thing you can do with a leftover dessert is make an apple pie milkshake. Just take a slice of apple pie and blend it up with some vanilla ice cream. Another option is to make is leftover hand pies that are not like tiny pies. You could take some of your leftovers to some family members or friends as well. Something I suggest doing with the desert is just eating the desert and enjoying it for a second time. You could make cranberry carrot muffins with your cranberry sauce as well. ESSENTIAL things you should have on your Thanksgiving table

This Thanksgiving, make dinner right. This Thanksgiving you should have certain things on your table that most people love. So put these on your table. (This is my opinion about some of these foods so if you like or don’t like them then don’t be offended.) and if every time you set your table and there’s not enough room on your table for people and food.No problem I might be able to help.

 

Things to have

Many things are just essential to a succesful Thanksgiving, and one of them is a turkey, of course. Along with turkey have mashed potatoes and gravy. mashed potatoes and turkey just belong together if you have one you should have the other. Another thing to have on the table is green bean casserole because why not. More foods you should have on the table are stuffing, cornbread, a salad, and a raspberry dessert with cool whip, and frozen raspberries. A very simple side or dessert. One more thing to have on your table is roles with butter and jam. You don’t even need to put jam on the roll, you can make a turkey sandwich. Or eat it however you want.

 

Things you can keep off the table 

Some things you can leave off your table at thanksgiving can be beets. Almost everyone I know doesn’t like beets. So why waste money on them when nobody eats them. Another thing you can leave off the table is peas. Not many people like peas. One way to find out what to keep off the table is to see how many people like not-so-popular foods. Another thing to keep off the table is canned cranberry sauce. Honestly, I did not know what cranberry sauce was until I watched a show on T.V. That’s how unpopular it is. You also don’t need sweet potato casserole. Who puts marshmallows on a potato?

 

Desserts to have on the table

A very basic dessert that is essential to have is a pie. There are many types of pie to buy; Pumpkin pie, Banana cream pie, chocolate pie, and pecan pie. Another dessert to have on the table is what I call raspberry fluff (recipe at the bottom). Another dessert to have is homemade pudding with homemade whipped cream. Put the putting in a small cup with a blob of homemade whipped cream and it’s ready to serve.

You could even make small pies. The store has a tiny pie crust and you can take your leftover pie fillings and make them small. Another easy dessert to make is “easy homemade apple hand pies” 

(recipe posted at the bottom).

 

Ways to set your Thanksgiving table.

If you always have trouble trying to get all of your Thanksgiving food on your table and still have room to eat. then I might be able to help. If you have a long table then place the turkey in the middle then put some sides around the turkey. Then on the kitchen counter put the desserts. then you should have room for your plates as well. If you have a round table then place the turkey in the middle. Then on your counter put the sides and some deserts.

  •  raspberry fluff

Raspberry fluff is a delicious dessert. you take a big bag of frozen raspberries and dump half of it into a bowl. Then use half of a half and smash them then put them all together and mix them then add a tub of cool whip and mix. It should look like a pink cool whip with some chunks of raspberries.

iPhone 13 review

The new iPhone 13 came out September 14th and has now been out for a little bit more than a month. This phone is great and has so many new things. In this article, I’m going to review the new iPhone 13 and its good and bad qualities.

Good qualities

One good thing about the new iPhone 13 is how if you drop the phone it doesn’t crack as easily. It also comes with some new apps such as clips. The clip is an app that you can “make a movie with”. If you have ever heard of an app called iMovie it is like that but only for iPhones. The new iPhone 13 also has 5G so when you don’t have WIFI you still have fast speeds. Another good thing about the new iPhone 13 is the battery life. My old phone died in about 5-6 hours and I had to charge it a lot. The new iPhone 13’s battery life lasts me the whole day. ( and I’m on my phone a lot). “On apple.com they say that the new iPhone 13’s camera is the most advanced camera yet!”

Bad qualities

Some bad or not great things about the iPhone 13 is it looks the same as the iPhone 12 that came out last year. The only thing different is how the camera is placed. Some other bad thing about the iPhone 13 is however since the new iPhone came out lots of the other phones have been slowing down. my sister has the iPhone 11 pro and it does not keep the battery life it used to. It used to last a full day plus some and now she has to charge it when she gets home from school.

Why I like the new iPhone 13

I love having the new iPhone 13. I think it is a great iPhone. One of the things I love is the camera. I have only had one camera and now I have 2. So I can get a better picture. I’m on my phone a lot so the better battery life is amazing for me. Another reason I love the iPhone 13 is that when I had to transfer all of the things on my phone to my new phone, it was super fast so I could use my phone faster. These are a few reasons why I love the new iPhone 13.

All About Dogs!

Have you ever wondered why people love dogs so much? Well, I might have an explanation for you. Here are 10 “amazing facts about dogs”.

Dogs smell

Dogs’ noses are amazing; they can smell so many things. Dogs’ noses are 40 times stronger than ours(humans). Dogs can sniff out way more things than humans such as drugs, people, and even money. Some dogs were trained to sniff out covid-19 because their noses were so amazing. Dogs can sniff at the same time breathing without having to take a break. They rely on their nose for so many things like to find food, potential dangers, and to find people. So it’s nice that they can sniff without having to take a break and being able to breathe.

 

Dog breeds 

Lots of dogs are great swimmers but not all breeds were bred for swimming. Different dog breeds are bred for different things like hounds are bred for their keen sense of smell. Wall poodles like swimming. Their name poodle came from the German word spritzen which means to splash. In 1889 a german man bred 2 dogs to make a german shepherd “the perfect war dog”. Another breed is an Australian shepherd. Witch is bred for herding animals such as cows, and sheep.

 

Items to have if you get/ have a dog 

Some items you should have if you get a dog are food and water bowls. A leash, collar, and dog tag with your phone number if your dog decides to go for a run. A crate that you can put a bed in for if you go on trips. Food which can be canned or dry (i suggest dry). Doggy shampoo and conditioner and maybe a doggy brush. And a doggy bed. for an inside dog, you should get dog pads for training. but for inside dogs that use the potty outside, there are bells that you can hang on your door and teach them to ring it when they have to use the potty. Of course, you can’t forget the treats to reward them when your dog is being a good boy/ girl. 

What to do with a new puppy

 When you first get a new puppy you must make him or her feel safe. For bedtime, have your new buddy sleep in a crate near your bed put a dog bed that fits, and put a blanket inside so it’s comfortable, and drape another blanket on top so it’s dark. Also, make sure you know who the primary caretaker of the dog is. You coils have one person be one month and then switch, or even a week at a time. Make sure you come up with some rules like are they allowed on the bed, can they run around in the house, what rooms can they not go in, what room can they not go in, and other rules like that.

How fast can dogs run

Dogs can run fast if you run a race between you and your dog would easily beat you. A dog is made to run and chase. The fastest dog by far is a greyhound. A greyhound can run up to 45 mph. The second fastest dog is a german shepherd, which can run up to 30 mph. The average dog can run from 15-20 mph for a short amount of time. But not all dogs can run that fast; some dogs are a lot slower. How fast a dog can run depends on its physical composure and its health and bread. 

Dogs ears

Did you know that dogs have 18 muscles controlling their ears? These muscles help move their ears, even just slightly. Dogs’ ears can tell us about their feelings. My dog likes to “guard things” where she likes to protect things and we know when she’s doing this by first, her ears twitch slightly. And second by her trying to bite us.

Things to do in the fall

If you’re bored and it falls then I have some activities for you to do.

The first thing you can do is some cute fall crafts. The second thing you can do is take some cute photos. The third thing you can do is go to fall festivals.

Fall crafts

Some fall crafts you can do is a toilet paper pumpkin. A toilet paper pumpkin is where you can go to the dollar store and get some toilet paper, an orange bandanna, and some cinnamon sticks, and a green piece of fabric. then you need a hot glue gun. put the toilet paper in the middle of the bandanna and fold it in. Then glue the cinnamon stick and some green fabric in as a stem and leaf and you have some cute DIY pumpkin.

Another craft you can do with kids gets some orange Popsicle sticks and normal ones, get googly eyes, a little orange triangle cut out, and a sharpie. Then glue together 7 tan Popsicle sticks. And then glue on 7 orange Popsicle sticks on the back so some is still showing then put one orange one across so it looks like a hat. Then glue on the googly eyes. And draw a mouth then put the nose on and you have a Popsicle scarecrow.

Photos

If you’re bored then go take some photos. In the fall leaves are changing and if you live somewhere with mountains you can take some cute photos. You don’t even have to be in them, they would still be cool. Plus if you have a dog you could take some cute photos. Right now there is a trend called “the ghost” trend where you cut eye holes out of a white sheet and put it on, those photos look cool in the fall leaves. You could look up ideas on your phone of what kind of photos to take in the fall and get some cool picture ideas. you could find a bridge with trees by it and take some pictures there. You can take any photos you want. Any would look cool with the fall leaves.

Fall Festivals

 Another thing you can do in the fall is going to fall festivals. Fall festivals can be very fun. There is one in Utah (thanksgiving point) called corn bellies. Corn bellies is a very fun place. They have food, a corn maze, haunted houses, and more. You can do so many things. And what you do is get a wristband and you can do whatever you want. Or you can get a punch card, and go on some rides. The corn maze is free once you’re in. and their food is very good. There is also a “fall festival” in Georgia where there’s a petting zoo, a tractor ride, food, and flower picking. With the petting zoo, there are pigs, goats, a donkey, and some more. The flower picking it’s like a dollar per flower. you also get a wristband so people know you did not sneak in. They had fresh squeezed lemonade which was good. When I went we did not get the food but it looked good.

Carving pumpkins

Another thing you can do in the fall is, carve pumpkins. carving pumpkins is fun because you can do any design you want. I like to go to Pinterest and find ideas. One time I had a big pumpkin eating a small pumpkin. You can do any design you want to with pumpkins. I love carving pumpkins in the fall time.

One thing you can do this fall is, make a fun fall craft. Take fun fall pictures. you can go to fall festivals. And go to a pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins. Now that you have some ideas, what will you be doing this fall?
