Star Wars Episode 9: How it should have Ended

Star Wars Episode 9: How it should have Ended

Star Wars: Episode 9

In a galaxy far, far away

BUT HOW SHOULD IT END?

(If you haven’t seen the movie, don’t read! Contains MAJOR spoilers)

How DID Star Wars End?

In Star Wars, Episode 9, the republic sent their ships to a planet called Exicle to destroy the sith lord, emperor Palpatine. Rey figures out that she is Palpatine’s daughter, and then they fight. It takes a while, and Palpatine gets his power back after defeating both her and Kylo Ren. Unfortunately, he uses his lightning to destroy most of the republican ships. Then, He almost kills Kylo Ren. Rey and Palpatine fight and win, but Kylo Ren dies. This is the hard way.
First, let’s acknowledge some facts. First off, Rey can take a lightsaber from another point in the universe. If you’ve seen Episode 9, you know that Rey and Kylo Ren exchange lightsabers. So technically, Rey has infinite lightsabers.
Second, the force ghost Luke Skywalker is extremely powerful. His first trick is catching the lightsaber. Luke Skywalker appeared in front of the burning ship that belonged to Kylo Ren and caught the lightsaber that Rey threw. SO AN IMMORTAL BEING CAN HOLD A LIGHTSABER. The second trick he does is with his spaceship. It was in the depths of the ocean and he pulled it out. I will admit, it’s a cool connection to episodes 4, 5, and 6 where he trains with Yoda and Yoda pulls out the very same spaceship. Nevertheless, Luke Skywalker can ALSO use the force.
Third, we know that there are a LOT of Jedi Force Ghosts. In the Star Wars Series: Star Wars Rebels, the Jedi Knight Kanan Jarus explains more than once how over 10,000 Jedi Knights were protecting the galaxy.

So THIS is how Star Wars Should Have Ended

We already know that Rey has infinite lightsabers, and that force ghosts can use the force and hold lightsabers. Here’s how Star Wars should have ended:
First, Rey flies to Exicle. Lord Palpatine is there, sneering and complaining about how powerful he is. Next, an army of force ghosts appears from behind Rey. Over 10,000 of them. Rey then looks pulls out lightsabers from everywhere in the universe and hands them to the force ghosts. Then, the rest was up to the force ghosts. They could destroy the thing that’s keeping Palpatine alive, they could pile on him, suffocate him, do whatever, but they would win. That is how Star Wars should have ended.

How to Write a Good Story

How to Write a Good Story

Main Character(s)

The main character is one of the most important parts of a story. To draw the reader into your story completely, you need to create a good character. One of the ways you can do this is by connection. If the reader can connect with the character then the reader can understand the character and grow feelings for the character. One of the ways to connect the reader to the character is by having the character go through real-life problems in your story, like cancer, sickness, depression, or other mental pains. Another thing that can strengthen the reality of the character is by having he or she go through trials. The trials can then strengthen the character and help the character overgo her physical or mental limitations. Once you have a good main character, you can focus a lot more on some other aspects of the story.

Main Conflict

The main conflict of the story is very important and contributes to the growth of the main character. The main conflict can be anywhere from a great depression in a single character to a global zombie pandemic. To create a good conflict, it has to attack the main character’s weakest point. Another thing you could do is have the conflict crush the main character’s strongest point, either way, the character would be hurt. The next thing the conflict has to have is the confrontation, or the climax, where the main character defeats the main conflict. That way, the reader understands that the main conflict was powerful, and then after the main character grows he or she could overcome the conflict. This all contributes to the growth of the main character and is one of the most important parts of a story

Setting

The Last essential part of a good story is the Setting. The setting gives the reader a feel for what the story is about. If the setting was Unicorns and Rainbows, the reader would probably assume that the main character is in paradise currently. However, if the setting were explained as “dark and damp, with the sound of rain in the background,” then the reader might infer that the story is taking place in a rusty, abandoned town or a jail or some sort of another depressing area. The setting can change depending on the circumstances. For instance, if the character overcomes the main conflict then a certain storm can subside and the character “sees a glimmer of light in the sky” after there had been the storm for thousands of years. The setting can change all of the time, and sometimes it should change all of the time. The setting sets the feel of the story and is one of the most important parts of the story.

Other Tips

These are not the only parts of a good story. A good story can have many other things depending on what genre it is. If it was a mystery genre then the author would probably want to apply to foreshadow. A good foreshadow would be something subtle but of great importance that the main character sees but doesn’t understand. If you were writing a horror story, you’d probably want to give more dialogue that includes “aaaaah” or “oooooh” or moans or some sort of another horror sound. Other things can make a good story, but if you can get a good setting, the main character, and main conflict, you can make a pretty good story

Infamous Mandalorian Character: Baby Yoda

Infamous Mandalorian Character: Baby Yoda

Who is Baby Yoda?

Baby Yoda is an infamous character in the well-known Star Wars show; The Mandalorian. The real name for him has been The Child, but everyone likes and wants to call him Baby Yoda. Baby Yoda, according to Dr. Pershing (Omid Abtahi), is male. Baby Yoda is also 50 years old. Their species has an extraordinarily long lifespan, so 50 years is just an infant. We do not know what the actual character name is, but Robert Iger says that the name will be revealed somewhat soon, probably in one of the middle future episodes of the Mandalorian season 2. Baby Yoda has proven to be very force sensitive and can use a lot of different force abilities. In season one, he saved Mando by using the force on a Mudhorn creature. In one of the later season one episodes, he reveals that he can use the force choke as well. He uses it on Cara Dune because he thought that Cara was trying to hurt Mando in an arm-wrestling competition. He is the same species as Yoda, who we see in the first few movies. Unfortunately, the movies never provided a large background for Yoda, and all we know is that they are little green aliens, and as far as we know, massively force sensitive. The Mandalorian was sent on a mission to find Baby Yoda on a planet called Arvala-7. He succeeded and got the child, and traded him in for the metal he needed to get his whistling birds. He then grew feelings for Baby Yoda and broke the code to get him back.

Where does Baby Yoda live?

Baby Yoda was found on Arvala-7, but there aren’t any other Baby Yoda’s jumping around. We see the normal Yoda on a swamp planet, but we don’t see anybody else there either, so we can assume that the swamp planet is not the home of the Yoda species. So far, we’ve seen Yoda, part of the Jedi council and one of the strongest Jedi in the force; Baby Yoda, who is the famous partner of the Mandalorian character, known as Mando; Yaddle, who was part of the council in The Phantom Menace and is a female of the Yoda species; and Minch, who was in the comics. As far as we know, there aren’t many lifeforms of this species, but there could be more on another planet.

Why is Baby Yoda being hunted?

The Mandalorian was sent out to get him for extraction because some of the other season one character wanted him for some sort of extraction. It might have to do with the midichlorians that we learn about in some of the previous Star Wars Movies. The Mandalorian decided that he wanted to keep and protect the Child. Hopefully, we’ll see a lot more of Baby Yoda in the second season of the Mandalorian, because he’s a really interesting character.
