Top six funniest hockey players of 2019

Hockey is a wonderful sport and we forget that they are human and they have a sense of humor so hear are six hockey players that make me laugh. 

Brad Marchand

I know everyone likes to tease brad for being well brad but you can’t argue that he is not the six  funniest player in the NHL and now he and now he is happy because the Chinese named the new year after him 

Number 5  Henrik Lundqvist

This new york goaltender has a lot of nhl seasons under his belt and never ceases to amaze us with has absolutely wonderful goaltending  and am I the only one who thinks he looks like ben stiller

Elias Pettersson Number 4

I think that Elias Pettersson has been showing of his skills and has established presents in the NHL high key I want him on the cover of NHL 2021 and he looks like a supervillain from a James bond movie 

Number 3 drew doughty 

The greatest smile in the NHL don’t you agree on this defenseman it my personal favorite player because he is a    perfect mix of funny and mean 

Brent Burns number two

This is another defenseman who is a leading scorer and is just a great hockey player 

Number 1 is Patrick Kane 

With his crazy fast hands and his crazy fast skating he can go make the coolest and fastest plays to watch this guy is verry funny and his style of play just looks like he is having fun

Why the mighty ducks is the best movie of all time.

The mighty ducks is the best movie of all time because. Just by the start you can tell that it will be amazing. It doesn’t begin with like the team winning it starts with a Gordon Bombay  missing the game winning goal for the pewee championships and going on his knees because he is so upset.

Act One: The Start Of A Dynasty

Then like 15 to 17 years later  this same guy is a lawyer in the courtroom showing his skills being a lawyer. This  has nothing to do with hockey but that’s the point.The same guy who we know lost the game winning goal then gets a D.U.I and gets sentenced to so many hours of community service, and what does the judge decide. He says that since he played when he was 11 he would be a perfect fit for a coaching position for a team who hasn’t won a single game, this is the same guy who just got a D.U.I. The state of Minnesota just put a guy who got a D.U.I to coach a peewee hockey team for those of you who don’t know what that is. It is a team of 11 to 12 year old’s.

Act two: Ground Zero

  Then Mr. Ducks worth sends Gordon Bombay in a limo for the first practice he rolls up to these kids wearing football helmets. Half of them don’t even have skates just going crazy. This whole scene just feels like a hockey fever dream. So what does Mr. Dui do? He drives on the pond that they are playing on with a limp so the kiddies are all excited and then one of the kids points out that he looks like he is going to sell them drugs.

Act three: Meet The Team

Which I think ads to they are a peewee team feel. Any way they try to show him off but he says that he is his new coach they say that their old coach hurt his shoulder but from what they say the old coach probably had a heart attack from yelling at them too much. Gordon then proceeds to tell them how he doesn’t want to be here right now and goes into his limo. The kids are kind of mad so they decide to all get in the limo that is on top of a pond and just when you don’t know what type of wacky thing the well do next charlie’s mom shuts everything down  like a good mom. I love how this movie appeals to adults and kids like a kid sees this as aw man the mom is so mean but a parent is all like what a good mom that was so dangerous. any way now it’s their first game and it is of course the black hawks(Gordon Bombay’s Peewee team) and it is the same coach who he played for when he was a pewee. So Gordon and Coach jack have a coach talk he says oh you have not been here for a long time and they talk for a bit more than Gordon says so do you have any good players coach jack says that Adam banks is looking really good he says that he reminds him of Gordon but he wants it more. This is a huge slam to Gordon and he gets his head in the game but now he really wants to win. 

Act Four : The Real Start

But he slacked off on teaching the kids how to play and they get destroyed hard core. And then Gordon remembers how much he hates losing. So he goes back to practice and kinda teaches them but the wrong way and teaches them to flop the all chant “take the fall act hurt ”. so on the next game they flop all over the place. Except for Charlie in the third period charlie is getting double teamed and Gordon tells him to flop but Charlie doesn’t this makes Gordon so mad. Now we are in the locker room and the team is mad Gordon is yelling at the kids and then the dad of the two twins walks in and says “this is what i’m working overtime for ” and in my mind this is when Gordon Bombay becomes Coach Bombay. So

Act Five: Getting Every One On Board

coach Bombay goes to Charlie’s apartment and the Charles mom opens the door and gets charlie and Charlie’s face goes from happy to sad real quick and coach Bombay asks to talk to him and they talk and charlie asks his mom if he can stay for dinner. So that happened and they had the first practice starts and they coach Bombay sees a girl and a boy figure skating and he decided to skate out and ask them if they want to join the team and they accept so they have two good skaters but they still need a good shooter. Futon Reed has a wicked shot and people say he can’t play hockey because some kids say that college football coaches don’t want him to get hurt. So coach Bombay drives his limo past the Allie that he shoots at. So of course Fulton reed hits straight through the glass of the window of the limo. Reed starts  running but coach Bombay catches him and asks him why he doesn’t play hockey and reed replied that he doesn’t know how to skate like everyone with a good shot. So they have one of my favorite parts of the movie when they go rollerblading through the world mall.

Act Six: Practice Makes Perfect

So now they have a team and they have been practicing coach Bombay has been actually coach Bombay has actually been coaching and they are the last seed in the tournament and they win the first game. The movie now has a montage of all of the games read breaking the net with his slap shot all the cool parts of the tournament. They end up in the championship and this is where this goes from a good movie of all time it goes back to square one 

Act seven: Grand Ending

Square one of the mighty duck squad one of coach Bombay they go into the beginning of coach Bombay on the game winning shootout and the triple deke but this time charlie makes it. I think the mighty ducks movie is the best movie of all time not because it is the most cinematic but be cause of the message speed of going thru hard things and that you don’t always win this movie and the sequels are all apart of that in D2 Gordon Bombay doesn’t go pro because he gets hurt and in D3 the mighty ducks isn’t even the mighty ducks they are in a school with a new coach and that is why the mighty ducks is the best movie ever

Utah Should Host The Olympics

Hockey,skiing,curling,and bobsledding what do all these have in common.Well they are all winter Olympics, and in 2002 Utah hosted the winter Olympics in all of these events.We had skiers floating down the mountain snowboarders cascading down the half pipe and the best. Hockey players putting as much power as they possibly can going at speeds of up to 25.5 mph, and getting hit on the boards with no mercy. For forty five hole seconds and then you get forty five seconds to rest.  you do it over and over again until you think you can’t do it anymore you do it another six times just to make sure you don’t forget how powerful your brain is to put up with that exhaustion!

Utah Can Bring The World Together

That is the significance of the Olympics. The whole world comes together and we laugh and cry together, have hopes and dreams together, we hate each other, we love each other and. Do you know what that sounds like that sounds like a great big family. But at the end of the day that is what we are a great big family. And that is the Olympics and in two thousand and two Utah did that. We got the whole world together on our soil, we had a great big family reunion and that was a great time to have the Olympics. But I digress now what we did was grate, but it took some hard work wait did i say some? I meant a lot of work Utah had a deadline. to meet and if we did not meet that deadline the. Whole Olympics would not happen so we got our pioneer spirit together. To bring this wonder full thing that is almost holy in a way.  But we did it nonetheless and in 2002 the world came to us in one grate big family. 

We Are Prepared

You can’t have your cake and eat it too? It takes 5 billion dollars and more to host the Olympics. But Utah is different it’ll take only 1.2 billion dollars to host the Olympics.  That is about a fifth of the cost, and the Olympics make 45 billion dollars. So what is the problem? Well people hate the traffic that it brings, and they are scared that their taxes will go up, but what idiotic people that think that?  like a twenty dollar difference in your taxis, you spend twenty dollars on most of your clothes. Oh and the traffic would only be bad for the Olympics we all ready have the facilitates people no construction and no hassle. So check the facts and I can see how some people might think that, but come on. Why not read more than you wright listen more than you talk and don’t raise your voice raise your argument.

we Need Utah More Than Ever

OK as I digress I just want to say, that what is so bad about bringing the world together, as one great big family. Let Utah be the state that brings the world together. You don’t know what will happen in ten years look we see in history, WWI it was the war to end all wars but 21 years later WWII started and that is not a long time. That war was so bad that enemies said that they. Were taking it too far and made rules they made rules for war like it was some kind of game. War itself was changed so close to the wars end, and maybe just maybe we as a state can help the world continue on a grate path.

The State Of The Colorado Avalanche and NHL.

The Colorado Avalanche is a hockey team. Part of the NHL (National Hockey League) the colorado Avs have 25 wins and 15 losses, according to https://www.nhl.com/avalanche/standings/2019/wildcard.  The team was going on seven games undefeated until one of the players hit the puck in the goal. I feel that the Avs lost their momentum after that.

 yes there are more reasons than just that like when Nathan MacKinnon got injured and some of the other players all so got injured if the Avs are going to have to get it into high gear and need to work on Nathan MacKinnon he needs to start breaking out as the top NHL superstar next  to Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin 

The Avs coaching staff needs to work on his faceoffs in practice and have the Avs Asosheashon move forward as a whole when people see NHL they need to think Colorado Avalanche, not penguins or the black hawks 

The sport of hockey is in a very cool sport that the NFL is losing popularity 

It is having a great spot for sports like hockey and lacrosse but the NHL has been around longer and has a bigger platform so if the NHL wants to be on the same level as the NFL and the NBA we need more of everything the league as a whole has to level up just like Nathan MacKinnon needs to go up a level

1. Boxing

 You can not hit below the belt, hold, trip, or spit on your opponent. You can not hit your opponent with your head, elbow, forearm, or shoulder. You can never hit your opponent while holding onto the ropes. When the referee breaks you from a clinch, take a full step back then you can start again if you start beforehand, that is illegal.

2. Bull-riding

 A qualifying amount of seconds to enter is 8 seconds. The timer stops when the rider lets go of the rope, touches the ground, or the freehand hits the bull. Four judges rate the rider and bull on a scale of one to twenty-five.

3. Rugby

 There are two forty-minute halves and a ten minute break time in between. Players that have left the field can only return if they were treated for an injury. The defending team must tackle the player w/ the ball by grabbing them below the waist and pulling them to the ground.

4. Soccer (Football)

 Soccer is made up of two forty-five minute halves. The field is made up of fake or real grass. A soccer game must have one referee and two assistant referees. Both teams can have seven substitution players but only three of them can be used per game per side. Both teams are allowed 7 people on the field at a time. The team that makes the ball into the other team’s goal gets points, the team with the most points wins the game at the end. If the game is tied after the 90 minutes, then another 30 minutes will be given, if it is still tied after the extra 30 minutes, then an extra 15 minutes will be added every time until they aren’t tied anymore. 

5. Basketball

 Each team can have five players on the field at any time. Substitutions are made as they wish, as many times as they wish. The ball can only be moved by dribbling or passing the ball. If the ball goes to the other side and the other side gets the ball, they have to take it back to the halfway line, if they fail to do so, it’s a foul, and it gets turned over to the other team. The team trying to make a goal is called the offense team, while the team trying to stop them is called the defense team. After a successful shot is made, the ball will be turned over to the other team

6. Lacrosse

 Lacrosse is played on a 110 by 60-yard field. The game is split into four different twenty-minute games. Ten players on a field per team, three attackers, three middles, three defenders, and one goalie. There is a maximum of four long poles on the field at a time.

7. Ice-hockey

 Players can use physical force to get the puck from their opponent. A major penalty will result in a player being removed from the ice. A game starts when the referee drops the puck in the middle. A game begins with a face-off.

8. Basketball

 Baseball has two teams of nine. The field team is made up of a pitcher, first baseman, second baseman, shortstop, third baseman, catcher, and three outfielders. Once the batting order is picked, then it can not change, but if there is a substitute, then they will be in the spot the player they took over for was in. a batter gets three strikes before they are out.

9. Downhill Mountain Biking

 Ride on open trails, don’t make your own, don’t trespass onto private property, don’t ride on land protected as state or federal wilderness. Control your bike, always ride within your limits, obey speed regulations. Leaving no trace, don’t cut switchbacks, Pack out at least as much as you pack in, muddy trails are vulnerable to damage.

10. Jousting

 So this may not be what you think but, the way to win is not to knock your opponent off their horse but to get more points than your opponent. Ways to get points: 1. Shattering lance tip 2: breaking lance tip-off in One piece or 3: opposite lance makes contact with your body shield but doesn’t break. Lance has to be Ten feet tall. Lance must have a tip, middle, and base. Lance tip has to be at least twenty-four inches and a maximum of forty-eight inches. The armour is helm (helmet) body (torso and chest) gorget (according to heavy weapons regulation) hand (protected by a shield, gauntlet, or equivalent (lance or vamplate)) leg, arm, and shoulder protection (not required). The shield must be made up of rigid non-brittle materials (most commonly used is ½ inch plywood). The shield must have 300 square inches for a big target for the opponent. The shield must be strapped in a way so the rider has control of their equipment and mount at all times.
