KIDNAPPING / ABDUCTION

Do you know, every 40 seconds a child goes missing or is abducted in the United states? The most common age to get kidnapped / abducted is when you are 12-20 years old, or in middle school. Luckily, 99% of juvenile kidnapping cases were not found dead, but alive. There are many cases where the person who was kidnapped survived, these are some examples of those people.

JAYME CLOSS

Jayme Closs was kidnapped on October 15 2018, the same night her parents were shot and killed. The police followed thousands of tips and did everything they could to find her, but their efforts to find her failed. Until January 10 when Jayme Closs was found outside of a small town called Gordon, which was located about an hour away from her home. 21 year old Jake Thomas was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Jayme Closs’s parents and Jayme’s kidnapping after pleading guilty.

ELIZABETH SMART

Elizabeth Smart was 14 years old when she was kidnapped by Brian David, then held captive by Brian and his wife. She was held in the woods, where she was abused and sexually assaulted for nine months. Elizabeth’s sister recognized the kidnappers voice, which led them to get a sketch of him and eventually catch the kidnapper. Brian was sentenced to life in prison while his wife was released after 15 years in September 2018.

KARA ROBINSON

Kara Robinson is a 15 year old girl who was kidnapped while she was watering her friend’s plants. Richard Evonitz came up to the house and got Kara to come closer to him by pretending to give her a flier, when she got close enough to him he held a gun to her neck and forced her to get into a container in the trunk of his car. Kara was held hostage for 18 hours, where she was repeatedly sexually assaulted. Kara waited for her captor, Richard Evonitz, to fall asleep. Then she wiggled out of her restraints and escaped through the front door where she flagged down a vehicle and got them to help her. Richard was then connected to three other murders of girls around Kara’s age, and was suspected that he would’ve killed her too. Her captor shot himself when he was cornered by the police.

KAMIYAH MOBLEY

On July 10 1998, A woman named Gloria Williams had a miscarriage. Leading her to kidnap Kamiyah Mobley, who was born only a few hours earlier. Gloria brought her back home to her husband and her other children, where she raised Kamiyah as her own. When Kamiyah was 16 she wanted to get a job, which forced Gloria to explain to her why she didn’t have a valid birth certificate and social security card. For the next year of her life they lived in hiding, until someone sent in an anonymous tip about Kamiyah. Kamiyah has a strained relationship with her biological mom, and she has made it known that she supports Gloria, who Kamiyah continued to address as “mom”.

KATIE BEERS

After Katie beers was kidnapped, on December 28 1992 two days before her tenth birthday, she terrified the nation with a phone call that was released to the public: “Aunt Linda, a man kidnapped me and has a knife, and oh no, here he comes right now,”. A family friend, John Esposito, kidnapped her and sexually abused her in a bunker located in his basement. Katie Beer’s was missing for 17 days before John led the authorities to the bunker where he kept her. He told the authorities he had made the bunker for her, but Katie Beers sees the case differently. She associated the kidnapping with “”saving her”. Before the kidnapping Katie was living with her godmother and her husband, who abused her.

These are all examples of people who survived kidnappings/Abductions and their stories. Although these people got a happy ending not every kidnapping story has a good ending. Do you know anyone who’s been kidnapped? How did their story end?

There are a lot of crazy horrible crimes that people in our world do today and some are unforgivable.

A mother of a Californian man is accused of destroying her son’s map that had plans for an attack. Her son and his girlfriend killed 14 and hurt many more. They opened fire at IRC and were killed in a firefight with the police. The mother will be put behind bars for at most 18 months.

Two parents left their son locked in a closet while they went to a party for about two and a half hours. To make sure their son wouldn’t escape the nailed the door shut. The police came to question the boy and the boy said his parents started doing that a couple months before and one time when she escaped out of the closet he got in big trouble. After he escaped once the started nailing the door shut.

A college student’s father was just put in prison for sexual abuse. The girl’s roommates said one night when the girl wasn’t home that the girl’s father came in and was touching them inappropriately and was making them give him their money. He also forced sex on one girl. One night when he came again two guys were there with the roommates and the father knocked out one of the boys grabbing his neck before slamming his head to the ground and to the other boy the father held his neck till he passed out. The girl did not know about this till recently.

Two champion chess players were found dead. Stanislav Bogdanovich and his girlfriend who was also a chess champion were found dead in his apartment with balloons filled with nitrous oxide also known as laughing gas. Russian investigators claim there was no foul play.

A gun was found loaded in the prison that last summer Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. When they found the gun they went into full lockdown. They had over 175,000 inmates mostly at the jail which was named as one of the most secure jails.

A drunk college student was in town for a night out and called an uber and accidentally took a $1,700 dollar ride. He woke up in an uber 250miles away from his destination. He went from Newcastle U.K to Norwich. He slept through most of the five-hour drive and couldn’t believe what happened when he woke up. He woke up and thought it surely had to have been a dream. The bill ended up being 1,307.64 pounds. When the driver heard what happened he didn’t make him pay for the trip. For the kindness of the driver he gave him a five-star rating and took a train home. Sadly he got fined for not having a train ticket so he missed his classes for the next day.

President Trump sues CNN News for ¨ false defamatory¨ saying he sought Russia’s help in the 2020 election. The complaint says that CNN was aware of the falsity at the time and didn’t mean to hurt his chances in the 2020 presidential election while misleading their own readers. The campaign filed a lawsuit for false importing.

Two adults and children were found dead in a Dallas Texas hotel. The hotel manager went up to the room to tell them that their hotel room was expired and that they had to leave. Right before he knocked he heard a single gunshot and ran away to call the police. They think it was a murder-suicide. So not just a murder.

There have been many crimes in today’s world and some that are unforgivable they go from murders to tons of other terrible things.

Murders

A nine-year-old Florida boy stabbed his 5-year-old sister 5 times when his mom was getting the mail. He said that the thought of killing his sister came into his head a couple days earlier. He also said that while he stabbed his sister he said die ,die ,die. His mom came in and stopped him from stabbing her a sixth time. She was sent to the hospital and died a few days later.

Earlier this month a man showed up at an airport with a woman in his suitcase. He was immediately arrested and questioned. He had kidnapped and murdered the women a couple days earlier.

A man was being attacked by two pit bulls and his neighbor came out to help with a crossbow. I thought he would shoot the dogs to help his neighbor a miss. He accidentally hit his nabor and killed him.

A man kills a pregnant cheerleader who was 17. The man was on the football team and was dating the cheerleader. The man claims he killed her because she waited too long to tell him that she was pregnant with their baby. They asked the cheerleaders mother how long she had been pregnant and she said for about six months.

A man kills his wife and kidnaps him one year old daughter. He had lost custody of his daughter to his wife so he decided to murder he and take his daughter.

A man went to prison about 60 years ago for murder and was just released. About a week after he was released they found out he had murdered one of his cell mates so they went looking for him. They found him when he murdered another person.

A little girl came home from school and was playing in her front yard then her neighbor came up and started to strangle her. Later that day they went to her neighbors house and could not find the girl but they found her neighbor dead on the floor. He had cut his own throat and died. They found the girl three days later in his house dead.

Crimes

A man cut off the nose of an endangered saw shark and was fined $2,000 and 60 days of community service. He was a fisherman and caught the shark in the net. After cutting of the nose he let it go back into the water.

A TSA agent tricked a woman into showing him inappropriate parts. The TSA agent said he needed to check down her pants and in her bra to make sure there was nothing in there. He made her let him look twice then said he needed to take her into another room to check again. Once they got in the elevator he said actually I will do it right here. After they got off the elevator he said she had some nice parts. She reported him and he was arrested.

A woman put her husband in the freezer and claimed he was missing for years just t get his money. When she died they searched the house and found the body in the freezer with a note that said I had an appointment with the doctor today and found out I won’t live much longer. Without my money, you will not be able to take care of yourself so I climbed into the freezer. I want you to claim I’m missing s you can still get my money. They authorities found out that day he did have an appointment and was going to die soon and that it was his handwriting. Authorities said they found out that the money she got from her husband still being paid she got 177K.

A girl known as a gun girl shows up at her college graduation with a wight dress on,a gun on her back , and on her graduation hat, the words come to take it from me with a gun on it.

An Indian man was arrested with a tattoo on his head saying crime pays. He was released from jail and sent on his way.

A police officer in Arizona was killed in a car chase. He was shot and died. They don’t know who shot him but the FBI is determined to find him.

Former mayoral candidate Nancy Grace’s teenage daughter was accused of trying to kidnap a newborn.

Stephania Parze’s ex-boyfriend gave suicide notes after his ex-girlfriend went missing. He said his ex-girlfriend had suspicious marks on her neck. She has been missing since Oct 30 at ten pm.He said he can’t do life in prison. He ended up killing himself by hanging himself.

So as you can see there have been many murders and crimes that are unforgivable in our world today.
