My Top 10 Albums of All Time

My Top 10 Albums of All Time

I will be listing my top 10 albums of all time, at this current moment. My music taste usually consists of alternative pop, indie pop/rock, rock, and rap. I like almost anything except country music. Now, let’s get with it!

10. THE FUTURE IS DARK by Lil Darkie

This album is super cool. All the transitions make it so cool to listen to. I love every single track on this, which is pretty rare. The mix of loud and angry songs mixed with sad and melancholic songs. My favorite tracks are: HUMANS AND MONSTERS, i know i know, AMERICAN SLAVE, house made of ash, and human insignificance.

9. Electra Heart by MARINA

This album is an amazing classic, and I had a hard time placing it. I love so many of the songs on here, they’re such fun and cool songs to listen to. Marina is so talented, and has such amazing and unique lyrics. My favorite tracks are: Lies, Starring Role, Fear and Loathing, Teen Idle, Lonely Hearts Club, and Valley of the Dolls.

8. Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez

I adore this album so very much. The whole aesthetic sticks to the album the whole time, and makes it so fun. It also has a mix of dark topics, so it always makes this an interesting listen. I love the story it includes, and how it covers all the topics it mentions. My favorite tracks are: Sippy Cup, Mrs. Potato Head, Cake, and Play Date.

7. Plastic Beach by Gorillaz

I absolutely love the vibe of this album and all the sounds. It’s so atmospheric, and can make you feel like you’re somewhere completely different. It gets a bonus point because of the amount of lore that comes with it. My favorite tracks are: Rhinestone Eyes, To Binge, Superfast Jellyfish, Pirate Jet, On Melancholy Hill, and Broken.

6. IGOR by Tyler, the Creator

I didn’t start liking rap entirely until the end of 2023. But this album is a masterpiece. I love the whole story with it too. It makes it even more interesting to see how the perspective changes throughout the album. My favorite tracks are: NEW MAGIC WAND, A BOY IS A GUN*, EARFQUAKE, ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?, and I THINK.

5. Gorillaz by Gorillaz

The variety throughout this album is incredible. This is what changed and started everything for Gorillaz. The blend of style and genres is insane. The nonsensical part of it is what makes it so cool and interesting. My favorite tracks are: Double Bass, Punk, Left Hand Suzuki Method, Clint Eastwood, Slow Country, Re-Hash, 5/4, 19-2000, and M1 A1.

4. The Now Now by Gorillaz

I really love all the sounds and feel of this album. It’s super underrated, and deserves more attention and love. It’s mostly a blue and sad album. I like to usually describe it like a day at the beach, but you’re too sad to enjoy it. My favorite tracks are: Souk Eye, One Percent, Fire Flies, Idaho, and Tranz.

3. Demon Days by Gorillaz

The variety throughout this album is so cool and fun to listen to. It changes so quickly, but in an amazing way. The music videos and art style are so visually appealing and cool to look at. I don’t skip anything from this album. My favorite tracks are: Kids with Guns, El Mañana, White Light, Feel Good Inc, and Last Living Souls.

2. PORTALS by Melanie Martinez

The transitions, oh my god. The new sound from Melanie is such a bop. I could listen to it all on repeat, over and over. I love the whole aesthetic and all the important messages in each song. I love listening to this, it makes me feel transported somewhere else. My favorite tracks are: SPIDER WEB, THE CONTORTIONIST, LIGHT SHOWER, FAERIE SOIREE, EVIL, and NYMPHOLOGY.

1.The Family Jewels by MARINA

I made this album first for many reasons. It has almost everything fulfilling, and perfect for an album that I love. The variety in its genres and style, the meanings, the aesthetic, the nostalgia, it’s perfect for me. I could listen to this anytime. It has every mood or emotion you’d want to feel or express. My favorite tracks are: Are You Satisfied?, Oh No!, Mowgli’s Road, Hermit the Frog, The Family Jewels, Girls, and Numb.

I love music so much, and how it can give you so many different emotions. I’m always listening to something. Now that I’ve listed mine, and all my reasons, what are your favorite albums?

Aerial Arts saved someone from their eating disorder

Aerial Arts saved someone from their eating disorder

In April 2022, a woman named Clare began taking aerial arts classes. She has an eating disorder called AFRID, which involves the avoidance of food and the restriction of one’s diet to just a few specific foods, causing nutritional deficiencies, weight changes, and anxiety.

Aerial became a safe space for her. She realized what real self-love is, and Aerial just continued to heal the wounds in her mental health.

She says that throughout her life she didn’t have a good relationship between food and exercise. She suffered from exercise-induced asthma and iron deficiency anemia, and sometimes fainting from mild exertion, while she was growing up.

With aerial arts being a great form of exercise, it also can heal mental wounds. Aerial is said to reduce stress along with better quality of sleep. Aerial became something that Clare could rely on, something that she could do to reduce stress and anxiety.

She started on something as simple as the apparatus pole, and now she can do so much more than just pole. It was something so small and yet it changed her entire life.

After she did aerial she could do things that she couldn’t have done beforehand. Such as hanging out with friends and not feeling exhausted or putting her suitcase in the overhead bin by herself. She says, “ My body actually feels like something I own, not a burden that I must carry.”

Aerial allowed her to be okay with how she is. She knows that her eating disorder isn’t just going to go away, and she knows that if she just wants to eat only one thing, then that’s fine! Aerial made her realize that even with her eating disorder, she still deserves to feel like her body is something that she should be proud of, not ashamed of.

After she took aerial classes she said, “ These days, hunger is accompanied by a feeling of accomplishment. Feeling hungry is a reminder that my body is healing, and it’s something I’ve been able to feel grateful for. “ She realizes that eating isn’t a bad thing and that it’s okay to feel satisfied after you eat a meal.

Aerial helped her discover a new kind of self-love. “Loving not just what my body looks like, but what my body can do.“ Aerial is difficult and pushing through it can be a lot. Yet the result is most definitely worth it.

People say that they would love to try Aerial, but they’re not strong enough. You don’t have to go into aerial being strong, or flexible. You can start from the ground and go up, and up. Nobody says they’re not strong enough to start going to the gym. It takes time to build up strength and flexibility, it doesn’t just appear.

She said that after over two decades of feeling weak that sometimes she struggled opening doors. She says that, “Having total strangers tell me that I’m strong has been one of the most surreal things to hear, and the best feelings I’ve ever experienced.“

Aerial allowed her to get stronger, to break free from her eating disorder. It may not be gone but it can be managed. With Aerial she can manage her eating disorder so much better than she could’ve before.

She says that she never thought she would be able to eat three meals a day and exercise a few times a week. To others, it doesn’t really mean anything but to her, she can take care of herself and her mental and physical health. And it is her greatest accomplishment.

Thanks to aerial, she isn’t held back by her body. She doesn’t worry about fainting from mild exertion anymore. She loves what her body looks like, along with what it can do. Not having to worry about it being painful to lie on her stomach, or to feel the pain of being malnourished.

Aerial was the thing that she needed. She found aerial and her burdens just got lighter and lighter, until they weren’t there.

Of course, nothing heals every single wound, but she says she has never been healthier and she says that she “Truly owes it all to dance.“ Aerial didn’t heal every wound, but it sure did help heal a lot.

She said that, “I believed that exercise was something that could only ever hurt and feel joyless, because for years, that had been my only experience. It was only when I exercised on my own terms that I began to heal from that idea. It turns out that I’m actually a really athletic person, I just hated gym class.“ Aerial made her realize that she was athletic, and exercise isn’t just pain and joyless. Aerial allowed her to find herself, to find her real body, and to love it in any and every single way she could.

Clare struggled through really hard times and yet she managed to do it. With her eating disorder and exercise-induced asthma, it’s hard. It isn’t easy yet she still got through it all. Inspiring isn’t it?

You don’t have to go through hard times just sitting down and doing nothing at all. You can find a calming activity like how she did. It wasn’t something huge or super special, it was just a simple class.

Because of that simple class that she took, it changed her entire life completely. Despite it being difficult to overcome her hard trials, she did, because of one Aerial class. You can always continue even when the path looks pretty gloomy.

You never can’t do something. It can seem like it, but you can always continue trying. The only one stopping you is yourself. If anything the biggest bully or obstacle is your thoughts. As previously mentioned, you never have to go through these difficult times alone. You can always have someone or a calming activity to help you, to get you through those hard days.

It’s never too late to sign up for dance, or for something you enjoy doing. You don’t need to be strong to start at anything. You go to the gym when you want to be stronger. Everyone can go to the gym, you don’t need to be strong, you can be as weak as a twig and still go. You go to the gym to get stronger, to feel better, to make yourself happy. You do it to meet your goals and expectations, not to fit into society’s expectations.

Now, what’s something that saved you? Could be an activity, a book you read, or maybe something as simple as a friend you made. What saved you? Put your answer down below!

Ocultism is getting people harmed, kidnapped, killed, and raped.

Ocultism is getting people harmed, kidnapped, killed, and raped.

A seven year old kid in India was found dead with her liver extracted. The police said that a childless couple paid 1,000 Indian rupee to the girl’s neighbors and had her sacrificed so they could have children. It is said that the two men tried to rape her before proceeding to kill her.

There are many harmless occultism activities, but there are also really harmful ones. Some people will do sacrifices on kids and adults for a variety of reasons, but people are taking it too far by killing people and stated earlier hepatectomy (the extraction of the liver.) Police have said they cannot do much about it since it is protected by the first amendment.

A four year old boy was killed in India after his stepmother was told that a child had to be sacrificed to bear one of her own. Moreover she then later had a miscarriage.

Now if you’ve read it all, you probably have realized that they both were for fertility. Yet this isn’t always the case. There are many reasons that people have done this, wealth, lust, hatred, etc.

Now if you start looking into this more, you will realize that there aren’t many reports of these. However most of these are not reported and/or don’t make it nationally this is a huge problem in many countries.

I know this might sound a lot like bias (which it is) : I like occultism and I feel like it’s a wonderful thing, but when it gets to the point where they are sacrificing children, they have crossed the line. My point of this article is not to try and stop occultism, it’s to inform on the bad side of occultism.

Kidnapping / Abduction Survivors

Kidnapping / Abduction Survivors

KIDNAPPING / ABDUCTION

Do you know, every 40 seconds a child goes missing or is abducted in the United states? The most common age to get kidnapped / abducted is when you are 12-20 years old, or in middle school. Luckily, 99% of juvenile kidnapping cases were not found dead, but alive. There are many cases where the person who was kidnapped survived, these are some examples of those people.

JAYME CLOSS

Jayme Closs was kidnapped on October 15 2018, the same night her parents were shot and killed. The police followed thousands of tips and did everything they could to find her, but their efforts to find her failed. Until January 10 when Jayme Closs was found outside of a small town called Gordon, which was located about an hour away from her home. 21 year old Jake Thomas was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Jayme Closs’s parents and Jayme’s kidnapping after pleading guilty.

ELIZABETH SMART

Elizabeth Smart was 14 years old when she was kidnapped by Brian David, then held captive by Brian and his wife. She was held in the woods, where she was abused and sexually assaulted for nine months. Elizabeth’s sister recognized the kidnappers voice, which led them to get a sketch of him and eventually catch the kidnapper. Brian was sentenced to life in prison while his wife was released after 15 years in September 2018.

KARA ROBINSON

Kara Robinson is a 15 year old girl who was kidnapped while she was watering her friend’s plants. Richard Evonitz came up to the house and got Kara to come closer to him by pretending to give her a flier, when she got close enough to him he held a gun to her neck and forced her to get into a container in the trunk of his car. Kara was held hostage for 18 hours, where she was repeatedly sexually assaulted. Kara waited for her captor, Richard Evonitz, to fall asleep. Then she wiggled out of her restraints and escaped through the front door where she flagged down a vehicle and got them to help her. Richard was then connected to three other murders of girls around Kara’s age, and was suspected that he would’ve killed her too. Her captor shot himself when he was cornered by the police.

KAMIYAH MOBLEY

On July 10 1998, A woman named Gloria Williams had a miscarriage. Leading her to kidnap Kamiyah Mobley, who was born only a few hours earlier. Gloria brought her back home to her husband and her other children, where she raised Kamiyah as her own. When Kamiyah was 16 she wanted to get a job, which forced Gloria to explain to her why she didn’t have a valid birth certificate and social security card. For the next year of her life they lived in hiding, until someone sent in an anonymous tip about Kamiyah. Kamiyah has a strained relationship with her biological mom, and she has made it known that she supports Gloria, who Kamiyah continued to address as “mom”.

KATIE BEERS

After Katie beers was kidnapped, on December 28 1992 two days before her tenth birthday, she terrified the nation with a phone call that was released to the public: “Aunt Linda, a man kidnapped me and has a knife, and oh no, here he comes right now,”. A family friend, John Esposito, kidnapped her and sexually abused her in a bunker located in his basement. Katie Beer’s was missing for 17 days before John led the authorities to the bunker where he kept her.  He told the authorities he had made the bunker for her, but Katie Beers sees the case differently. She associated the kidnapping with “”saving her”. Before the kidnapping Katie was living with her godmother and her husband, who abused her.

These are all examples of people who survived kidnappings/Abductions and their stories. Although these people got a happy ending not every kidnapping story has a good ending. Do you know anyone who’s been kidnapped? How did their story end?

Stray Kids: The Most Genuine Artists

Stray Kids: The Most Genuine Artists

Have you ever seen a band who genuinely loved making music, each other, and their fans? Well, let me introduce you to the Korean band Stray Kids who debuted on March 25th, 2018.

This group consists of 8 members: Bang Chan, Lee Know (Minho), Seo Changbin, Hwang Hyunjin, Han Jisung, Lee Felix (Yongbok), Kim Seungmin, and Yang Jeongin (I.N). In 2017, there was a survival show that took place under the same name, Stray Kids, produced by their company, JYP Entertainment, in which they debuted through.

January 17th, 2017 is the date of Stray Kids’ sub group, 3RACHA, formation, which consists of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. This subunit is the main rap line in the group and they are also the main producers, writers, and composers of their content and music.

On January 8th, 2018 Stray Kids released their pre-debut album, ‘Mixtape’, with the title track ‘Hellevator’. This song was immediately a hit with the current fan base and showed how much potential and talent the group truly have. Now, with that being said does that mean they were always popular and debuted with ease?

No, the eldest member and leader, Bang Chan, picked out all the members himself and was  the first person to be able to do so in the K-Pop industry, so they were called a joke. Two members, Felix and Lee Know, were originally eliminated off of the show, but were later added back for another chance and, upon proving themselves, the group ended up debuting on March 25th, 2018 with the album ‘I am NOT’ and the title track ‘District 9’, as a nine member group with the former member, Kim Woojin, leaving the group on October 28th, 2019 for reasons announced as ‘personal reasons’.

Although they barely had any promotions and were labeled as the company’s flop group, they ended up proving themselves well when they received their first win for their music video ‘Miroh’  on April 4th, 2019. This group later went on to do their first world tour, named District 9: Unlock Tour, but towards the end of 2019-2020 it was cut short due to COVID-19, but that didn’t slow them down or break them apart.

Bang Chan, their leader, has said before, “I think that one of our biggest weapons is the brotherhood we have.” This is only one of the many times they have proved to their fans just how close they truly are to each other. They aren’t only close and loving towards each other, but also to their fans. They always speak encouraging words whenever they can whether it’s at a concert, in their songs, or in their other content.

In 2022-2023 they went on their first full year world tour, named Maniac World Tour, and at the first concert all of the members broke down into tears as they saw how much their fan base grew. Fans sang their songs and showed their support by putting on a video full of Stray Kids memories and encouraging words to the group on the concert stage screens. This led to Bang Chan saying, “I’m gonna protect all of you, each one of you. I will protect you all. “

The next day they did another concert and he said, “Hello everyone, welcome to the Stray Kids concert. What you have just seen is something very precious. It is something you won’t see everyday..you know it’s funny cause the eight of us we actually don’t cry that often, but when we’re in front of you guys we can’t hold our emotions and it hits us really hard. And we want to thank you for just existing and for living with us in the same time line…But because of you guys we can really exist as well. It’s all thanks to you. And I, on behalf of the group, and the group itself, we will always protect each other and protect STAYs. So thank you for being with us today. I’m gonna protect all of you, each one of you. I will protect you all. All the staff, fans, and members. No one set a finger on them. Don’t you ever dare to touch them.”

Those words are one of the most loved speeches by their fandom, STAY, because it shows how genuine of a group they really are. The second eldest member, Lee Know, once mentioned how they would never stop making music and they will continue doing so even when they are in wheelchairs. The whole group shares a goal to be the longest lasting K-Pop group so they don’t let down their fans nor each other.

In short, Stray Kids are the most genuine group whether with fans, each other, or their music. Is there another music group this genuine or enjoyable? If so, leave a comment and they might be my next topic.

How to be happy.

How to be happy.

Most of us want to be happy  in life but sometimes we don’t know how to be, so here are some tricks for being happy. So if you are not happy. you need to find something that will make you happy let’s say your dog or pet do they make you happy ? If they do make you happy you found something that makes you but if your pet does not make you happy here are some things . There are family friends and so much more you have to find out what that something is to make you happy.

Meditating can make you happier to exercise. So there is some proof that being happy takes time because breathing can help with stress levels. And if those are low it can make you happy or find something else to focus on but your stress or anxiety. But there is so much you can do to help with happiness.

If you live in a dark environment try to find some bright colors like red, yellow, or orange. Those colors can help with seeing that not everything is so gloomy. If everything is still  sad and gloomy or you are mentally struggling. There are a lot of things you can do like therapy or writing it down.

Those are ways you can start being more  happy. It is trying to get your mental health up first if you figure that out that can help a lot with your happiness. But if you are already thinking that you are happy then keep doing what you’re doing to stay happy. Make sure you do not lie to yourself about what you feel. like you are happy but you have a feeling that you do not  make sure not to lie to yourself about it.

Sometimes you have to face the truth in life and learn that not everything is happy. But if you are not lying to yourself about your happiness, great! And if you try to stay that way, that is the best way to be happy. Are you telling yourself that you are happy and you believe it? but there are a lot of things that you can do to help you with it.

Even watching movies that are happy can bring it up to. Or you can try and socialize more, which can also help finding friends that care about you. Are the best things or even going out of the house can help you too.  but if you are mid you can find ways to help you with your happiness. But bright things can help, even eating can help or make your body feel healthy and not feel like crap all the time. Keeping a clean space in your environment can make you happy.  or even cleaning can help your mind be calm. So the main thing about this is that you can find ways to be happy in life.

It takes time to do it, it may take some time to do it but you will get there even when you get more sleep. can help so much. but your happiness is the most important thing in life that you can have out of having to bring it up. If you are struggling, here is a phone number you can call 1800-1888-1553.

The Reid Technique – interrogation made easy

The Reid Technique – interrogation made easy

The Reid Technique is a 9 step police interrogation method, which is the final phase of a 3 phase interrogation process.

The Confrontation

The detective starts the interrogation by presenting evidence, whether it be real or fake, on why the police have led to the decision that the suspect is in fact a suspect. The detective can move throughout the room and invade the suspect’s personal space. They present the evidence in confidence the entire time. The suspect’s level of stress may start to increase. They may start fidgeting or grooming themselves as well.

The Justification

The detective, in a soothing or soft voice to lure the suspect into a false sense of security, establishes stories or themes on why the suspect might have committed the crime. The detective could move the blame away from the suspect, and put it onto another person’s circumstances that could justify why the suspect committed the crime. The detective looks for excuses that may be brought up from the suspect many times. The theme or story that the detective brings up may change to see if the suspect likes one scenario more than another. For example, if the suspect nods their head, or if they seem to pay more attention during one scenario than the other.

Denial Interruption

During the entire investigation, the suspect may start producing denial of any guilt. Detectives need to stop this as it could increase the suspect’s confidence. The detective will kindly interrupt the suspect in their denial, saying things like they will be given a turn to talk in a moment, but right now they need to listen. A low amount of denials tells the detective that there is an sign of guilt, and they are on the right track to getting the suspect to confess.

Overruling objections

Once the suspect fully latches onto a story that the detective produced, the suspect may begin to throw out objections. The detective should treat these differently than simple denials, and should try to turn them against the suspect. They use the opportunity to get the suspect to move towards the acknowledgement of their crime. When done correctly, the suspect’s objection can be turned into an admission of guilt.

Reinforcing Security

At this point, the suspect may begin to feel unsure, and start to be unreceptive. The detective should start the phase of reinforcing security. The detective starts to pretend to be the suspect’s ally, and will act more sincere. The detective may use physical gestures such as patting the suspects back, or putting his hand on their shoulder.

Indications of Surrender

The suspect could begin to buckle under the stress. They could hunch their shoulders, or put their head in their hands. To increase the level of stress in the suspect, the detective may make eye contact with the suspect. If the suspect begins to cry, this indicates to the detective an indicator of guilt. The detective will use these insecurities to transition to the next step, which are the two alternatives.

The Two Alternatives

The detective proposes two alternatives on why the suspect might have committed the crime. One alternative is more socially acceptable to society, so the suspect is expected to choose that one. It doesn’t matter which alternative the suspect chooses, as they both admit guilt. The detective hides a third alternative from the suspect, which is where the suspect maintains that they did not commit the crime.

Bringing Witnesses

The detective is then ready for the admission of guilt. Yet, before that can happen, the detective brings in one or more witnesses.  Sometimes the detective steps out entirely and makes the suspect confess to a different person. All this is done to keep the suspect’s stress level high provides a way for the truth to come out from the suspect easily.

The Confession

At the end of the interrogation, the detective records the suspect’s admission. This can be done by video, audio, or any other means of recording.

TL;DR

The Reid Technique is a common and easy tool that detectives use for interrogation. It’s many steps work together to increase the suspect’s stress level and to get closer to a confession. Although it is a very common tool, it is not 100% fool proof and has led to false confessions. In conclusion, The Reid Technique is a high risk, high reward method of interrogation.

Why Kids Need Screen Time Limits

Why Kids Need Screen Time Limits

Kids, no matter if you hate them or not, can’t be on social media. Social media or Roblox or even any other game is damaging their brains. They can’t get off their screens and it’s turning them into little devils.

Some people think of kids nowadays as cute little innocent people. Not iPad babies, when a kid is grown up, slacked off and they get whatever they want you as a parent have created the devil.

Parents are the fault of creating these devils. As a parent you have to set boundaries you can’t just slack off on your kids and give them whatever they want. When you do this you make your kids think the world revolves around them when in reality it doesn’t. That’s how you get iPad babies or 10 year old Sephora girlies.

This is why kids need limits on screen time and no social media. When you create a screen time you set boundaries as a parent which then doesn’t mess them up. The possibilities are endless. Kids get better sleep, they go outside more, they can get less depressed, and most importantly they don’t turn into little devils.

So in reality these kids are messed up. Most of the time it’s the parents fault because they are not parenting and they give their kids whatever they wish for and it creates demands. We will see what happens to these kids but it does not look good for them.
